Although the promo T&Cs are in Sydney time, QF’s IT systems still appear to go off GMT. Publishing the promo after midnight GMT helps.

Often appears on the website first. Emails come out over a period of time.

Generally it's 'same day' notice, at best - the promo is often online before you get the e-mail, and then typically you have 5-7 days to register and get everything booked within the promo period.

In the past the promo has showed up at midnight (or shortly thereafter) Aus eastern time (daylight for now) but the GMT thing is more about doing the registration for such promos to ensure it sticks and provides the magic.

Of course any process can and will change.
