Will Qantas have a March 2023 double status credit promotion?

So a preemptive first strike from VA today? 😁
yes.. I noticed this. Question is - is this more about VA's situation ie demand (seems unlikely) or what? and will QF respond - or feel the need?

I did note VA also launched a sale which QF hasn't currently matched, but QF tend to launch sales on Tuesday's at 0000 Syd time that I've noticed so... maybe later tonight.

Even though QF puts Sydney time in their T&Cs, their IT systems are programmed to use GMT, so it's best to book when both Sydney and GMT time would be in the qualifying window if you want it to automatically credit.

yes, in terms of registering/booking for promotions such as DSC and other things I totally agree. Registration for promos etc are best done post 0000 GMT (ie: 1000 AEST/1100 AEDT).

My point was that sales and the like tend to be launched at midnight SYD time.

I just wish they'd hurry up and post the DSCs from last year's March offer, flew last week still no DSCs on account. I need the first lot to post so that I can log my Original Routing Credit for more SCs.

DSCs were very quick to post - normally within 2 days max of taking the flight… seems to be a delay at moment… flew 26JAN SYD-MEL and still no DSC.

Same here but still waiting for another set of DSC from Travel Pass...

Yeah Im also still waiting for Travel Pass DSCs from Dec & Early Jan; and DSCs from Sunday (the one from last Thursday posted this morning).

In addition, still waiting on Qantas Hotels bonus points from a stay that ended on 3rd Jan.

Looks like there are still a number of jobs to run - if not received by + 6 week mark, I will be lodging support tickets to have manually amended. I'm dangerously close to reaching WP for first time and I want it as early as possible to maximise benefit duration.

I flew CBR- SYD on 24 Jan, and DSCs from last year’s DSC promo have not posted, but at least the flight, points and usual SCs are showing on my activity statement. I also then flew SYD-HND also on 24 Jan and nothing has posted for that flight at all - not the flight, the points, the standard SCs or the DSCs. Hope they sort that soon.

I too am hoping for another DSC that includes Qantas codeshare flights this time.

And I'm hoping for the winning lotto numbers tonight. :)

Those particular promotions dried up well before the pandemic - it seems VERY unlikely such largesse would return, or if it does they would be VERY limited (like that wonderful time QF codeshares on EK trans tasman flights were allowed 0 oh that was a joy :) )

if you get your wish, you won the QFFlotto :D

well let's hope, and very seriously, some of the issues are absolutely sorted out. that would be worth it for sure.
I did wonder if the timing mid-week was to do with peak demand for booking comes on weekends when people aren’t working weekdays 9-5 or involved in school runs etc. and having plenty of free time to do so?

now OT to this convo but I note QF Money app has an outage notice for the same window too so my paranoia hat is off now.
The 'Health app' was off-line then too... bugger because it's when my steps roll-over for the week so I had 5 less hours to hit or amend my 'goal'... got caught out on an outage before and missed out on like 100 points (piddly amount but it all adds up).
And I book my longhauls so far in advance I never seem to catch the DSC promos... maybe I just need to start flying more domestic trips 🤔

There's a sale ending Tuesday 7th Feb, so maybe after that?
I’m seriously considering purchasing something in that sale… 😳
