the main big one ended last night (Feb 7, 2023) but a few destinations still have some sale fares loaded. MEL-SYD, MEL-PER are two I noticed. I'm sure a bunch of others. They expire Feb 9.There’s several mini-sales on but I can’t seem to find an overall domestic one ?

3 days before announcement of half year results... Or it may be 23 February itself to couple it with the good news? Not sure how accurate this is but the DSC offer may be announced 20 February.
Which was what happened in 2019 (DSC announced Monday 18 Feb, half yearly results 21 Feb), the last 'normal' year for which we have data.3 days before announcement of half year results...
You just know there will be another NZ sale with those $1000 J fares...
I did the maths and need exactly 120 SCs to retain Gold, so basically 60 + 60 via DSC. Any bright ideas how I can do that out of SYD for the least possible amount of money? You just know there will be another NZ sale with those $1000 J fares...
Have you already factored in the 50 SC loyalty bonus?I did the maths and need exactly 120 SCs to retain Gold, so basically 60 + 60 via DSC. Any bright ideas how I can do that out of SYD for the least possible amount of money?
No - I did not but I don’t think I will get it. I will have the full Gold roll-over plus 100 SCs from PC+ plus the rest being reward flights. So, I don’t think I will get that.Have you already factored in the 50 SC loyalty bonus?
Yep, I will have kicked started next member year with 500 SCs thanks to that sale. DSC will be nice to finish the current year.I was waiting for the DSC promotion, but with the recent International sale, it was too good to pass up.Looking today for exactly the same flights we booked, it is literally double the price we paid.
We are short a few status credits to remain gold but we will book a domestic flight when they have a DSC promotion.
Very happy campers

Some of us are time poor. As much as we like flying, doing half the number of status runs can be handy at times.
Yep I liked that with my fat I mean my comfort seatYou could always book a comfort seat
Do the trip once, get more space on board, and get double status credits for slightly less than the cost of two fares (since you don't pay the taxes twice)
Yeppers but all needs to be down through the call centre. Also be mindful you won't get an upgrade at allThis may have been asked/answered before: Can you add a comfort seat to a Classic Flight award?
