A quick J trip to Singapore should hit the sweet spot for us for WP April next year with our Christmas trip to UK already booked. That one is on Emirates through Qantas so wouldn't get the DSC anyway. Just the usual credits. So 🤞

Well this thread is already into its sixth page, and no offer has even been announced yet!

I can just imagine the flurry of posts that will happen if/when a DSC offer does actually come along. 😂🤣
I’ve still got my timer set for late March. Happy to be proven wrong!

Someone guessed 20 Feb earlier today here

I am ready to book a flight to the UK so a DSC would sway me to book with Qantas and not Qatar.

The 2021 DSC was 25 Mar (bucking the previous trend).
Their hand was rather forced on this in 2021, though. Lockdowns only just ended in NSW & VIC in mid Feb 2021... and first doses of the vaccine only started going into arms in late Feb 2021.

I'm picking later this month for the DSC promo too :)

Cheers,
Matt.

Don’t you both mean 2022 DSC ?
This started on 25th March 2022 and was nothing to do with lockdowns etc

these threads build every year, sometimes more than once a year, with punters hanging out for the holy grail.

and when it finally happens everyone goes nuts with glee... :D

You just know there are folks at Mascot with popcorn reading and finding some kind of pleasure out of it all.

More like the bean counters are licking their lips, with all these people eager to spend thousands of dollars on Qantas to get 'free' access to a couple of $1 party pies in the lounge before their SYD-MEL flight that cost $50 more than the nearest competitor.
