Will Virgin's Premium Lounge Entries open back up at some point?

Just gone through BNE premium entry. It’s been open the last two weeks on a trial.

Two more weeks to the trial.

The regular security queue was back to the premium entry doors after snaking through the baggage claim area. 🫣
Wish I had known it was open last week. I didn't even go to check if it was open as the VA website was indicating that it was closed. Not a great trial on the usage if it isn't advertised to members.

What are the hours/days for the trial? Is it just peak periods?

The staff member I spoke with didn’t mention this.

Either way, you’ll probably be starting your security queue experience nearby the premium entry!

Admittedly the last 2-3 times I've been through BNE Virgin security it's been a 5-10 minute queue, and has moved fairly quickly. The loss of the Premium entry has been the key PITA...here's hoping it's open the next time I want to go through!

I am flying through Brisbane in about a week and a half and have just become Gold. Where is the premium entry located please?

I flew out of Sydney last night. Premium Entry is still not open due to Sydney Airport staffing.

Security was a breeze, straight through. The lounge though was packed, standing room only.
