Yes, you will need to have earnt 400 status credits yourself on flights. Rest can be by other means.

So if your review date is post October 1, you need to qualify under the new rules?
Even though you've already qualified under existing rules?

Doesn't affect me, but just interesting situation....as soon as you achieve the SCs & sectors the velocity app/website tells you you've qualified for status etc. would be harsh to then on review date tell you sorry you drop a status peg.

It would be nice for the App or website to tell you how many of 'each group' SC's you have (you on Virgin + everything else) as well since otherwise you'd have to go through your transactions and calculate your 'real' requalification progress yourself.

I am still on the 'old system' for the next week or so, so maybe once my 'review' is complete, I will see these new progress bars.
