Wine Glasses, Decanters etc

Tks for that - this is the decanter Squires Loft used last night - I am staggered at the price - we could not see any label / branding on it last night and I am even more staggered SL would use this quality
For some reason that one decanter seems way more expensive than everything else. My wife would have selected it on that basis.

I am a big fan of the Brian Hirst handmade decanters, again not cheap.

Unfortunately my "workhorse" Spiegelau carafe / decanter did not make it through the Australia Day BBQ at my chateau.

Fortunately the idiot who broke it was kind enough to do so while it had absolutely no wine in it... What a considerate chap...

So, that means I am now in the market for a carafe / decanter - and any hot sales on said items...

AFF legends - any good deals going?

Just use one of these. $4.60 (or 4 interest-free payments of $1.15 :) )

penegal I bought 2 cheapies from VB that I was going to drop into OT - they look perfect to me - you can have one of those if you want - you can take a look at next planning meeting if you want

That's a good price, I paid about $10 for mine and picked it up in store.

I'm planning to be there on...
You know the dates.

I found these really didn't do much. Denture cleaning tablets are the way to go. Requires next to zero effort.
This was such a good tip. I had some reidel glasses with ingrained tannin stains - can't remember from when - and I had scrubbed, soaked, dishwashered all to no avail. But the little blue fizzy tablet worked a treat!
