Wine Glasses, Decanters etc

Yes, your second try was spot on. :)

I have a large collection of Zalto glasses of all types, so am intent on compare and contrast.
The Spiegelau were about half the price of the Zalto and need close inspection to differentiate.

I have to design a small bar area and would like some input on storing glasses.
Are hanging racks for stems the go?
Do they need to be enclosed in a cupboard to keep them clean ?
It's only a small area .. about 2.3m wide and will have a tall narrow frig at one end
Any other tips 'n tricks welcome..

Most important thing is to store wine glasses far away from the kitchen. From (bad) experience, even closed cupboard will not keep away the cooking smell.

Most of my stems are hanging on racks.
No issues with dust when hanging upside down.

Funny you should say that. I actually have the opposite problem :) Spent some time on the weekend figuring out where to put some after acquiring some new Riedels. I just talk the talk...I don't walk the walk :)
Ah, we have two cases of Zaltos on the dinning room floor as backups!

I think I’ve moved on from Riedels. Too many of the lead glass ones have gone frosted. Steradent helps but not completely.

Ooo which ones? Wing wines look ugly but interesting.

Got a dozen Veritas champagne glasses (previuosly had a random selection and never one's I loved). The shape of these seem perfect. Also picked up 6 Veritas oaked Chardonnay and a dozen extreme Cabernet (useful for those dinner parties).

I mainly ordered as I had the opportunity to pick them up at a really good price. I just assumed they were lead free (the Veritas ones) given that they're pretty light. Either way, I can't complain at the price I paid.

Any suggestions for disposable / single use Champs glasses / flutes?

Anything better than the ultra cheap supermarket types?

Stemless would be ok - TIA 👍

A bit better than single use but may be an option if you or someone near to you is a finewineco member
