Woolworths backflips - QF points are coming back

There have been QFF points paid in January but these are only catching up from transactions in December. The barcode should still work on the old card although there has been some speculation about this. Apart from that I can't really shed any more light on the situation you mentioned.
The barcodes on the old card and new cards are the same. The only difference between new and old is the branding.

I got the offer of spend $230 and get $35 or 3045 points. The problem is I am now a one person household so there is no way I could spend that much! Looks like I'll have to rely on other ways to get my QFF points!:(

big total but it doesn't have to be in the one shop

Mrs OATEK clicked on 2,175 pts for $135 spend. I urged she think about the dollars, but she said she would have to go back again to collect them on a later shop.

I said almost anything. Recharges for mobiles, Opal and many other non grocery services are excluded. Best to check the terms and conditions for each offer.

I will read these with interest when I or Mrs Excel finally get an offer. Might have to go and do a couple of <$5 shops to remind them we exist. I will be particularly annoyed if mobile recharges are excluded. While I understand WOW would exclude items that are low %profit, this is still frustrating. Telstra credit used to be a great way to pad out a spend to hit the target.

No, but even in one week I couldn't spend $230. Now, if they included cigarettes, I'd have no trouble!

Probably a law somewhere that says tobacco products can't be tied to rewards-based schemes. I hope that a bottle of wine in an online order still counts...

Have spent 450 real AUD at WW this month (only 2 of us (+ cat)). Only offers received are the orange ticket items that are of no interest, and only 1 razoo credited. At this rate i should have 10 razoos by the end of Oct.

Received an offer of spend $100 and get $15 or 1305 QF points. As I am yet to earn a single WW cent, this is a welcome promotion as a full week to earn.

QF points are effectively costing 1.15c/pt. If you are going to book a Y award seat (or on a toaster), you would be far better off with the instant cash.

I think these points are likely to be more expensive for Qantas than the old WW ones, as they are more likely to be redeemed effectively

No offers for me or mrs prozac at all. Think they have decided we have dropped off the radar (not spending with WW anymore), or I am simply too much hard work for their system to cope. ;)

Roger I think you have coined the new term for a WW dollar, a razoo.
Expresses it beautifully.
Maybe ww$10 could then be described shorthand as a "brass razoo".

Yep.. I use my old card that is on the back of my Woolies credit card. Spent $17 this morning. Docket says you are well on your way to bonus points. You have just $157.09 left to spend by this Sunday.

I received a woollies offer today, $25 off your next shop or 2175 QF points. (yes 2175)

Is that roughly what everyone else is getting, did I get that because I have stopped using the card for every shop, card has come out twice this January. I'm not sure how that's arrived at.

870 / 10 * 25 = 2175. Looks about right.

The points are based on a conversion rate of $10 WWD equals 870 points. The amount of points offered depends on the target spend. The points amounts have been increasing when the target spend goes up. There is a huge variety of offers. I haven't put them all together yet and worked out what the percentage yield is (using the WWD amounts as a baseline). I'll need to track data in three different threads in order to figure out the sweet spot on the dollars spent versus dollars earned. Looking at things, it appears if you compare the old EDR points offers to the new WR points offers, there are more points being offered now per dollar spent than there were in the previous program. What's your target spend for the 2175 points? I'm guessing it's around the $200 mark.

Two shops at about $140 each time. Not targeting specials just my regular stuff which I pay no attention to the prices or stickers, I buy the stuff I like to buy.

I should also add there I buy about $100 less per shop since the improvements, but as I said, only used the card twice instead of weekly this year to see what happens.

Walking through wow Belmont now. Significantly more orange tickets.
