There is no post above mine that refers to this new promotion. My post 40 minutes ago is the first posting about this new promotion.

Although, it does appear that this was posted on Ozbargain before my posting 40 minutes ago:

1. Will woolies impose a limit retrospectively (remembering the Only1 event),
2. Will woolies block the purchase using EGCs now or at some point during the promotion, and
3. What will the backlog of purchasing EGCs become by the end of the week?

EDIT: Note of warning. The Wish EGC Portal (via cashrewards) now has Woolworths only EGCs at the top of the portal, followed by Big W, Dan Murphys and then Wish EGCs. Be careful not to lock yourself in to woolworths!

1. No. They can't do that.

2. Possibly.

3. Expect a 48 hour delay. I'm buying up now.

EDIT: This occurred some months ago from memory.


Checked out one of my local stores today. They had at least 100 cards available. Hope they are still there tomorrow when the store opens at 1pm.

I think what PLANT aid asking is whether you can buy multiple EFTPOS cards in a single transaction to speed up the process.

Sadly I don’t know as I’m yet to try

You have always been able to buy multiple cards at one time.

Confirmed. I bought 4 cards in one transaction and the system credited 8,000pts.

I now see that Darwin stores opened up in the morning yet Perth won't even open up at all today.

I bought one with a $5.95 fee from a Metro and didn't get the bonus 2000 points. Either the old $5.95 cards or Metro purchases are excluded from the promotion.
