Woolworths gift card thread

Just got a woolies voucher and want to know if I can claim the $100 credit on a new card!
Might go for a restock walk!
So just used 10x Visa $100 for insurance payment.....and the rest on the Nab Plat for the bonus points!
mmmmm....should have tested the system for more but premium was due today :(

only managed to get some..not my local woolies..

Woolies Westfield Bondi Junction all sold out. Apparently ordered more but heaps do $50.

So my walk found store with 20 at least. Now history says 2000 points but when swipe only points and no $100 wrc credit off total. Wrc call centre says that if you have credit should be able to use? Do I need to set to money option on website and not QFF option? People in shop said only heard of $10 credit.... But on here people getting $40 credit off?????
Can I get $100 off if change website setting?

I'm back from a run to the 4 closest stores and there were zero $100 cards available. Ohh well.

Out of interest are people spreading over multiple woollies accounts or tanking one account to keep spend targets down?

Multiple accounts as I convert to QFF Points......as even if the 10 card limit is not applied now WOW may do so after the fact. I have been in enough point runs to know that sometimes if the **** hits the fan, that the promo runner tightens up. However in this case the potential loss to WOW is limited by the actual number of physical cards and that it is just the 2000 points per card.

Question for WOW are they doing it for cashlfow, or are they doing it to attract shoppers to their store. If mainly the latter they may tighten up. Mind you all the cards may now mainly be gone.

If you were taking cash as you went it probably would not matter.

Managed to get 25. 5 came from a small Woolies with no self checkouts. Lady had a few issues doing it (kept scanning the wrong barcode) and turns out she's activated one of them twice and the other not at all. Pain to have to drive back!

The $40 was when I scanned 4 cards.
You can only get the credit off your next shop not the current one

I reckon that there are heaps of $50 as few would evever by them. Whereas the $100 can still be attractive to some even when there is no promo.
spacebar

I tend to agree, I've still got some cards left over from the Coles promo the other week so aren't going too hard on this one. I prefer to burn through them for cashflow reasons. If only I could combine them all into one card!

Coles and Woolies are struggling to achieve sales growth. This is a nice way to increase 'sales' (if measured by absolute turnover going through the stores) without selling us anything but the ability to pay for stuff outside of their stores with Amex for instance where it's not normally accepted.

Back home changed settings walked back BINGO $100 OFF next card.
Ended up using 3 x $88 cards that had balance to get another one! It's Christmas at Woolies.... Share price UP to boot!!!!
