Perhaps the staff are picking up on your lack of respect shown here and in other posts. Personally, I find being friendly seems to work.

Agreed, the staff have been very helpful to me. Explaining there will be some small bits of paper that come out after the initial docket which are activation slips.

One lady even asked did I want to buy a raffle ticket while I was doing all my scanning. I bought one for the children's hospital, who knows I might win!!

ahhhhhhh....more bills and so converted 4x$88 card(and left over card) to pickup another 4 today! Got to compound the %savings
1 card left in store---->cashrewards---->hopefully get a quick ecard and pick it up on walk home!!!!!

That's an interesting point actually. I wonder how the ATO would treat cash equivalents if they started to add up into the thousands. I keep a paper trail just in case...

im in vic and on the road for work purposes, have visisted a total of 15 metro woolworths,

so far 1x 25, 1x24, 1 x1 , and the rest are all zeros

whoever managed to get 150 on here, kudos to you!!!

Brisbane (Northside) update - all the following stores now out of $100 cards: Brisbane Airport, Nundah, Banyo, Stafford and Everton Park. Ascot doesn't stock any, and I haven't tried Chermside. Called most of these, staff were helpful in checking for me whilst placing me on hold, to save driving to each one. They all said "plenty of $50 cards though"...

First Woolworths was all out of them at Helensvale Westfield. Second Woolworths at Pacific Pines had about 8 left, but my budget only went as far as two of them. Thanks for the heads-up!

Called a couple of stores and one didn't have any and the other had a few in stock. Asked them to keep 20 for me. When I visited the store I saw they had heaps on the rack. The lady was putting them through 9 at a time so I went and cleaned the gift card rack leaving a few cards if anyone wants them.

5 EDR accounts x 9 cards on each account. Will now pay my tax bill. Hope no one mugs me before I get home.

I think the trick is to try areas where Amex cards wouldn't be a popular item in someone's wallet.

Without the Amex cards this deal gets you $4.05 profit and you wouldn't want to do too much running around for small profit unless you buy big. I spent ~$4,700 today on Amex vanilla card. Is that 2 x $1 at supermarkets? So ~9,400 Amex MR rewards and ~$180 saving for very little work in the end.

I did and she held 20 for me. Could have held more had I asked.

Very friendly young lass. Asked what I was doing and I explained about bills that one can't pay with Amex and the Everyday Rewards points. She was processing 9 cards at time so she knew the system limitations.

Well I just picked up 10 and held(tap nose) but would not hold more....guess who is getting up early tomorrow
