Woolworths gift card thread

Yesterday it was possible to load the $100 Visa One cards onto your Coles Reloadable MasterCard (ala the method people had used for the Vpay's last year with the Harvey Norman AMEX deal until it was shut down). Today this has been blocked as an option. Looks like Ozbargain has struck again!

One cannot really complain as that technique was first mentioned by someone on OzBargain last year in that promo. Ditto for buying VPays.
 
Bugger last 4x cards and my edr card not giving discount :(...... Access to another card any suggestions? Off to BP so not a wasted trip!
 
Rang mate got card number and put in via assistant.... Bingo.... He get $10.....I get $30.....from 4 cards!
 
Purchased around 30 plus cards from previous days. This morning put in 4 but upon scanning WR card only 4000 bonus points on screen, suspect limit reached. So asked attendant to cancel and put 2 through. Used mrs lilkid WR card and after putting through 10 for 20k bonus points, tried an 11th card, no points shown on screen.

Suspect WR have updated the system to be 10x bonus points per WR card. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Also, if I create a new WR account, can I link it to same QFF account?

Question now will be whether they also now amend the accounts of all who have bought more than 10 cards per WR account. Ok if you took the caskback up front. But if after the QFF points it may lead to some disappointment for some.

As per question alread yasked .No. you can only link a QFF account to one WR account

You're lucky there is stock around.

Been to about 15 and all gone.


And mine were all registering after ten cards on rewards card. Haven't hit 20 on any of the rewards card yet
 
Probably stupid question - I know I've been getting my EDR bonus for each card as I've been using wish cards at specific values with discount factored in (so I know I haven't missed out on any rewards), but in saying that I haven't paid a huge attention to when you are made aware or not if the bonus is applied.

From memory - after scanning all the cards, when you got to check out/pay, a message comes up saying you have earnt X rewards, before paying. Is that correct?

If the bonus is less then one should earn, obviously don't go ahead with the transaction / use another EDR, correct???

DATA POINT - I have done 21 so far, $40 sitting in my EDR waiting to be used
 
There are 10 or more left at Westfield inaloo as of 845 this morning.

On the other front, we have two accounts and neither have hit 20 but both are over 10. Will monitor if any Woolworths dollars go missing. Dr Ralph anything strange in your account?

Interesting. This definitely wasn't possible a few months ago. Wonder if the cards jumped in to a new issuer range which indue then blocked?

Nope. But i haven't made any purchases yet today. Have back up EDR in place if there is an issue.
 
I used 10 on a fresh EDR today and the 11th card had no bonus applied. Anyone have bought more than 10 on one (existing or new) EDR card today?

Yes. I bought some on Wednesday using the same EDR card.

Such a shame that they enforce the limit on the day I find some stock.
