Woolworths gift card thread

Ok I went Amex Plat Edge on my RAC sourced 5% off Woolies gift cards. So that was 3 Velocity points per dollar.
Bought 4 $250 Caltex Star Cash cards for $950 tonight using the Woolies gift cards.
I will pick up 4 cents off my Woolies $30 spend orange loyalty card and get Myer One card blipped too.
Because Platinum Edge ran over 500,000 I got a 25% bonus this past month with Velocity.
I think it works out pretty good.

Gee I thought it would be nationally available. I held up 4 fuel customers just processing those 4 cards which just takes about 5 minutes.
I may go there at 5am to avoid the crowd queue.

I did $3000 of Star Cards at Woolies Caltex today so I picked up 6 $500 ones using Woolies gift cards. When you are on a good thing.......I love getting fuel more than 10% off with the rest of the kickers. Apparently it is on all month but some stations don’t have $500 cards. The ones I got today came out of the “backroom”.

You clearly drive alot than me or have more cars than me ;). i bought 10x $100 ones yesteday,... that was the highest denomination available!

We have plenty of cars at work kpc but at home it is just one per person thankfully and granny has never driven. At work we are very pleased with the current Toyota Camry Hybrid which goes around 4.7 liters to 100kms. Only draw back is it is not suitable for towing. Have just ordered another 4 Hybrids to get rid of the trouble plagued Holdens Commodores that had recall after recall. The wait is still about 3 months for the Toyota Camry Hybrid to get supplied.

I did get some of the combined 10% off fuel cards for the whole family. One cannot start using them as he is earning the 50,000 Qantas points promo running over about 6 months with Caltex that I haven’t bothered to do.

So can I confirm that with Woolworths can use 5% off gift card to buy these virgin gift cards at either checkout or self checkout. If so quite a saving when using Cashrewards stacked with these. The trick I would think is to go one way paying $100 gift card with remainder cc. I don’t think you can use two gift cards to pay but I may be wrong.

Woolies Caltex take Woolies plastic gift cards so you can buy their modest group of gift cards. I prefer to buy the 5% off fuel Star cards as 10% off is nice this month.

Apologies if this has already been asked - can you use multiple virgin gift cards for the one booking?
I am sure that you cannot.

Multiple cards can be used if making a booking over the phone, the T&Cs don’t specify if the booking fee will be waived. As this is the only way to use multiple cards in one booking I would hope they would be.

I bought 8k Worth last week.
It's a slap in the face isnt it:eek::eek:

No, it is just good business by the Cashrewards Team.

Last week they must have been making a killing as all the Amexers were pushing through large orders buying many months of GC spend in order to be the 50% Transfer Reduction.

So when people are throwing $$$$ at you there is need to have a special offer.

Whereas this week their Amex based customers would have dropped off the face of the earth, and so they have an offer to entice the non-Amexers.
