Woolworths gift card thread

ive been ordering for about 2-3 years, and I used to order 0-2k,
i ordered 5k and i got a few security precautions and the order took about 2 days,

ever since then my 5k orders take 1-2 hours
so I guess it depends on your pattern of spending, once you make a big purchase subsequent orders will be like normal,

+1 here I had another 1.5k on Friday that hasn't arrived. Its either demand or they are having a issue processing them, I have recieved the tax invoivce but nothing else

I think there is an issue, The order I made on Friday got tax invoice as well and never got the cards.

I just emailed them and they said it was dispatched on the system and to check spam folders etc.. I did and nothing.

I had previous orders made last week Mon, Weds and got all the emails for the cards no problems.

I replied and waiting for their reply.

Purchased $3k worth on 24hrs again, still says Payment pending, but understandable considering the offers, the amount and issues outlined above.
Happy to wait another 24 hours, and hopefully Woolworths has a surprise promotion on Wednesday

Should I get worried that I haven't received my $423.80 gift card within 24 hours?
Albeit the payment on my amex edge card says pending.

Best way is to call them - it is very easy to speak with a human..
FWIW, once you are approaching the 24 hours mark, they do call up the "online verifications department" to try speeding it up.

It's annoying if cards don't come within the 24 hours period...

Bought 24 at self serve today, sets of 4. It was late afternoon before the after work rush. No one said anything and when I was walking out, the attendant gave me a *look*

Not quite on topic but has anyone seen the vanilla visas anywhere except 7 eleven. Saw them for the first time today and available at $250 amounts.

What's a vanilla visa? Are these the ones from Harvey norman? If so these are mygift2u Visa cards.

I have seen the $250 Vanilla cards but only in 7-11. I couldn't work out a way to make them viable given the high activation fee.
I understand there is an American Vanilla card that is/was a quite a different proposition

Think its $7.50 for a $250 card. I had a check back and I was told they had been sold in Target. I vaguely remember seeing a $100 in Coles once too. Never in WW or Big W unfortunately

Normally just swipe these. Occasionally asked to sign.

I've always had to sign with the only1 visa cards. So now I have changed it up to use eftpos instore and only1 online.

Got my cards in their support email. They pasted links for me, so I clicked on em using the phone and it loaded in the app. Easy peesy!!

Has anyone had any recent issues with the only1 GCs not activating? I went to buy 4. Only 3 activation slips came out. Told the staff member and they manually did a refund/repurchase on another machine with activation. Tried 4 again, the same thing occurred. Didn't buy any more that day. Ergh.

At least one AFF member has reported some problems in this thread within the last week.
