Woolworths gift card thread

That's interesting. Thanks for sharing. Which PO are you using? I'm located Sydney CBD and they've all neutered their machines. There have been reports of this happening to other machines but it's heartening not to all.

every self serve in brisbane i've used has accepted eftpos gift cards. its very biller specific though. BCC rates and Urban Utilities works fine. QLD Rego doesn't work. BUT, i have been taking that payment card to the counter and have only ever been told no once that i couldn't use it.

I'm a newbie to this thread and I have subscribed to if for updates as I want to better learn and understand the strategies with Woolworths gift cards.

Is there somewhere in this thread or elsewhere that sets out the rationale/methodology for using the Gift cards as it isn't quite apparent to me from reading this thread. It seems to mainly comprise people experience in executing a strategy rather than the strategy itself.

Many thanks.

I have sent you a PM to share my current strategy WW Gift card

The answers are in the thread.

I'm not deliberately being cryptic. However there are recent examples of strategies being detailed in this and other threads, then being shutdown. So I expect most people will be reluctant to outline it again.

Have a good look back through the thread and if you really can't find what you're looking for PM me.

But I promise it's there.

Agreed with this as you will learn more starting reading the thread from start to finish , thanks AFF community as i have learned so much the last 2 years since i joined just by reading . I start with getting familiar with QFF program , Amex Card and moving on to Velocity , Coles , WW .....there is really no shortcut you will need to take time to learn it all .

I'm finding it really painful to get the e-gift cards to issue.

I'm buying $423.80 on each e-card, and even if I only order 1, I need to email them to get it to process.

That sounds unusual? The only time I have a delay is when I am using a new credit card. Then it can take up to 24 hours to issue but have never needed to chase any up.

My methods of ordering have worked very well but only allow multiples of $100. I dont find it a problem keeping track using the WW Money app

I've been ordering 3 lots of $423.80 per day for obvious reasons. I have to chase up after 24 hours, and then I receive the same template reply that they'll be received within 1-2 hours (and, to their credit, they are)

Switched a $500 paper gift card to a plastic one today as the service station I use don't take the paper one. Took 5 minutes to do the switch.

I have been doing this since I started buying egift cards as it makes filling up with fuel much easier and in particular for my wife who mainly fills our cars due the location of the preferred petrol station being opposite her office.

has anyone else experienced delayed egiftcard emails?
two times this week I've had to call them because I didn't receive the email within 48hours. It used to be just 2-3 hours on weekdays..

Also eftpos cards are getting cleaned out at the 4 surrounding woolworths near me, competition is fierce..

Does this cost anything? I thought there was a $5 fee for a physical gift card

Wish e-giftcard to Physical Wish gift card doesn't cost anything. But you will need the assistance from the cashiers because they need to enter the value onto the card
