Woolworths gift card thread

Says the limit is 10.

What may be a better question is if you buy 10 x the perfect gift cards can you use those 10 x $10 rebel e-gift cards you would get in one transaction or is it only one $10 rebel e-gift card per transaction? I'm thinking the later is likely. This means the $10 rebel e-gift card will have little value for me.

That would be good to know.

Also, how would they know if I'd purchased more than 10 of them anyway? Especially if I didn't use my EDR card at the time I bought these $100 perfect gift cards?

Well you have you apply for them...

2017 10 02 Rebel bonus offer.jpg

So effectively, if so inclined, the limit is 10 per email address. Comes in handy with other offers such as the free cat food finishing tomorrow at Wow - 2 packs @ $5 each and get $10 JB HiFi eGC. Limit 4 per household (aka email address).

It'll be fun buying a $100 pair of shoes with 10 x $10 egift cards. The cashier will be there all day typing all the egift card numbers.

I haven't seen the catalogue but is it certain that there's no need to scan EDR to unlock the offer. I can usually justify (and find uses) for perfect cards anyway so the rebel deal is icing on the cake

I have the catalogue and can confirm there is no linkage to the EDR. So it's not linked/traceable to the EDR.

If it's anything like the Up&Go promotion, the Rebel egift card is just like a Wish egift card. You get an egift card number and pin by email. There is no limit per transaction but the cashier has to enter the long egift card number and pin into their cash register which might annoy less patient cashiers if you have more than one.

We'll they'd better get used to people bringing in at least 10 at a time!

It's not universal. I've purchased a total of 20 x Visa only cards over the last 2 days at my local. No issues.

Planning on buying at least 20 x theperfectgift cards tomorrow (in batches of 4).

Just got back from overseas and looking to buy some eGCs via cash rewards. Site is telling me 'we couldn't process your request. Error processing payment. Please try again later.'

Assuming this is a temporary glitch and will work when I try later. Wanted to check in whether anyone else had been having issues with the site and whether there are any current issues with sourcing the $100 Visa GCs (e.g. Lack of stock, new system limits or over zealous staff) given it's become so popular.

I've purchased 10 x $423.80 Woolworths eWISH cards via cashrewards within the last 48 hours (last purchase at 3.26pm today. It has just arrived). No problems with any of these transactions. They've come around 2 hours after ordering them.

I've also purchased 24 x $100 Visa only cards over the last 2 days at my local Woolworths. Again no problems.

Looking to do the same.

Have we worked out whether you can use more than one across the counter at a time?

And, what is the process to claim the Rebel Sports ecard?
I think the information already provided in previous posts will have to suffice until we get some actual reports from the field when the promotion starts tomorrow.

So far have had no issues at my local either. There are a significant number of self service terminals so most attendants are only watching for a red flashing light or waving arms looking for assistance.
