Woolworths gift card thread

I've finally just discovered my access to 5% off Wish gift cards (have had it for years as it turns out - doh!). Have people had issues with buying eWish gift cards and then using them to buy these point promo gift cards? Any helpful tips/advice?

If you read through this thread you'll find that some report problems (primarily with difficult staff) but most have no issues. There's a variety of different things you can do to avoid the problems, including not buying the cards by themselves. Encourage you to have a good read.

Is there a limit on the number of V1s that can be used over the counter at AP?

I've previously used 5 but today when I tried to pay a $1600 bill the agent said she didn't think you can use that many at one time. (Actually, she admitted she didn't know but wouldn't do it anyway.)

As it's an insurance bill I can't split the payment.

There's no limit. But it's at their discretion. Tell your insurance company to allow you to split the bill or you will take your business elsewhere. This has worked for me.

Starting Wednesday August 15, 15% off all denominations of Event Cinema, RedBalloon, Dymocks and Kathmandu gift cards.

Anyone have any luck buying v1s with e gift card today? I think my local woolies software has been updated... now its says the item is not allowed.

By itself. I think finally its had it run.

Well not while they are still stocking them on the shelves.

At my local they recently started saying that they no longer work at the self-checkouts. Not so as the first person that day approved my 4. Later that day when I went to buy another 4 I was told that no longer work at the self-checkouts as of two days ago (well they did still work) and that this was due to extensive fraud. So they may possibly be implementing a new change of blocking the self-checkouts and that this has glitch the manual ckeckouts.

Then again it may just be a random glitch online between WOW and 1V.

I hope so. Self check outs hasn't worked for months here and now manual checkout showed this new type of error that's I haven't seen before. Maybe wow is finally enforcing their T and Cs
