Woolworths gift card thread

The issue is not wanting EDR-derived WW points to go to waste in terms of points club.
E.g
Let's say you have 175k points and only need 50k to reach points club plus.
You would like to have a way of saving the extra 125k for the following membership year. If you hold off, only 125k would count in any case.
I assume that Dr Ralph's point was that if you are accumulating quickly currently you could expect to do so next year too.
I'm not aware of a solution

Wouldn't having auto transfer on until PCP was reached and then switching to manual transfer until the following year be the solution? (Seeing as no one has mentioned this I wonder if I'm missing an important factor in the equation...)

Being somewhat responsible for taking this thread OT I will chime in and say this is exactly what I'm doing, but the onslaught of EFTPOS gift card offers have me getting very close to or beyond the limit before my next membership year (31 Jul). It was meant to be very tongue in cheek but may have generated some discussion.

Luckily I had thought it was 100K rather than 125K so that has bought me slightly more headroom, but I'll still hit that quite soon and will just have to wear the rest of the points not counting.

After reading @VantageXL being in the position of having had PC+ qualification worth of points in one transfer that will sadly only count for 125K I formally retract any suggestions of being hard done by, I think that would seriously hurt.

Has anyone bought those Luxury eftpos cards? I went into 4 stores yesterday morning and they didn’t have in stock
I've managed to pick up a few in Canberra. My local Woolworths (Woden) doesn't appear to have any - a staff member said to me they're not generally a very popular card, so they don't tend to keep many in stock. (She then had a bit of a rant about having promotions like this but not providing additional stock, to which I could only agree).

I'm sure this has been covered downthread somewhere - but in case anyone is wondering the vanilla Visa cards work fine with Sniip.

How do the Uber cards work. I note that the cards have 3 years expiry on the back. Are they like the AirBnB where you load them onto your account and then the $ have no expiry? Or are the cards like "normal" gift cards where each card has its own expiry date?
Load them onto your account. They don't expire if you do this. They do expire after 3 years if you don't load them.

UPDATE: Just received an email telling me about some changes to UBER gift card operations in Australia. Whilst looking at terms, I noted this:

"3.11 No expiry on Gift Card balance. Once an Uber Gift Card has been activated in your Wallet, your Gift Card balance does not expire."

Is this offer likely to be repeated before 30 June? Am going to buy a couple of K worth but prefer to delay until as close to then as possible.
I can't remember the frequency for Woolies but Coles usually does this promo once a month. I've been chasing Velocity so using that promo. I can't remember if Woolies is every month or every 2nd month.

Seem to be happening more and more frequently to me!

So now it looks like Everyday Pay is not making a come back.

Whilst it's got its issues occasionally, it was good for paying with gift cards as it will automatically redeem them using FIFO.

Now back to the old way of scanning the barcode of each gift card. A pain when there are small balances.

The consolation is, I only need to score the cards under one profile.
