Pray for no power outages otherwise the safe may be cracked.

Re: Woolworths rethinking Qantas - or a slow news day

Email received today celebrating my Woolworths Rupiah landing following the double Rupiah promotion. Yippee, except that I still don't have WWR10 to redeem, sigh!!!

In the interests of a balanced argument I have had some good rewards this week. I'm not a fan of the new system but here is what I experienced.

The Mrs & I claimed $10 in Big W discounts each this week.

I spent $140 at WOW today and went from $3 in bonus dollars to $40 (without buying any specific orange tag items).

So this week our household has earned/saved $60.

As most of the Big W 'subscriptions' were unsubscribed last week - we received offers of FREE CHOCOLATE to go into Big W this week oh, and by the way, subscribe to the newsletter (hidden until 3rd click!).

So much for honesty - no subscribe = no chocolate

Note the chocs are the small 75g size. Have just been to 3 checkouts trying to get the more obvious 160g to scan

Went to Woolworth today.........spent over $30 (no itchy & scratchy offers/tickets)...... Didn't even bother scanning a wow card
going to be a different year indeed

Anyone received their "final" lot of points under the old scheme ? For week ending 31st Dec yet?

In fact, my WWRupiah activity statement hasn't mentioned points since 10th December 2015, although my QFF account has been credited since then.

I'm waiting on about 200 and thought it would have come yesterday but nope.
I've started shopping at WW again after they announced the new QFF partnership. Hopefully it starts soon.

Don't hold your breath for the restart. I think it is about mid year???

A grand total of 4 items that earn WW$ in the 40 page catalogue I have just received in my junk mail. Not a great incentive to use the scheme is it?

Indeed not. I logged into my account and scrolled through the orange ticket items "selected for me". I think 99% of them I have never previously bought, so how were they "selected for me"?

QFF points still missing in my case. Including the points from a major re-stock of the pantry (satisfying the $10 WW$ offer - which I spent ten minutes later)

Otherwise sitting on about $WW3

Happy wandering

Selected for you, at random, from the catalog.

Took 3 calls for me to get points instated from early December online shops to take advantage of the $10 plus the Pricepal $20 cashback. The standard line was firstly "your card needs to be registered" to "you do not earn points for online shopping". Then once I insisted the shop was recorded I had to get Pricepal to chase the missing $20 cashback. A far as I am concerned this was just shift, underhand behaviour by W.
By removing the old rules (in place until end December) from the system WW took the tools away from the call centre staff to deal with the issue correctly.
