Worse than feet on bulkheads

I occasionally do what the person on the right does (With flight socks) to stretch out for 10 mins or so and when the cabin lights are off. I hope that is not frowned upon

Someone will definitely frown upon it. You should sit upright with your shoes on for the whole flight.

I would be pissed if someone was taking photos of my minor child. Reportable to the FAs and ask for security to remove the images pissed.

He might be taking the photos to show and tell the crying kids or he might be a McFreak that likes kiddy photos for the wrong reasons (I understand is extreme but freak stuff happens when you least expect it).

Adults behaving badly, smudge out the face and post away. Babies, no.

So this was a CX flight in Y+ a few days ago. Was sitting in a middle bulkhead and instantly thought of this thread.
Which of these is OK?

To me, neither is particularly offensive. QF features promo material with pax in their lounges with feet (and shoes) on seats/sofas

One from the Sydney VA lounge this afternoon. Mr Shouty was on the mobile the whole time.

A small nudge going past would have had him on the floor

Grab the seat next to him and just sit there, watching and listening. Preferably while eating your potato salad and toastie.

When he stops talking and looks at you, you say "Oh. Didnt you want me to pay attention? Youre being loud enough for everyone to hear so I thought that was the point, you wanted us to pay attention to you"

Or is that just me... which is why I need my husbands supervision in public most days.

We had MrShouty in the Emirates lounge in Melbourne. Shouting in Arabic. :o

I was reminded of this thread last night at the end of 17 hours of travel TATL followed by a couple of US domestic connections... the last flight was delayed and as the only passenger in F I curled up in a double seat and used the wide centre armrest of the seat in front as a foot rest. Shoes off, but with socks. Was quite comfy and I managed to sleep for about 70 minutes of the 90 minute flight. I was woken by a flight attendant who was using one of the seats in front (where my feet were poking through) to take photos of the T-storms outside. Dunno how long they had been sitting there but they didn't seem too concerned!

Real-life extra plane legroom horror story

Real-life extra plane legroom horror story: Passenger scores two vacant seats in her row but then it all goes wrong

Pretty sure I would be sneezing all over that, while spraying snot (drops of water).

I would also be looking for the magic button under the armrest to raise that sucker.

Yes! Just like that. Well, almost, both of my feet were tucked up together.

The interesting thing was that US domestic first class has a seat pitch of about 37-39 inches. And I was able to get quite comfortable with my feet up. It made me think that with a tiny bit of effort, premium economy long haul could be easily modified to allow pax to put their feet horizontal and actually get a good sleep!

There's still a fair difference between lying flat and sitting up with your feet up I reckon.

True. 'Feet up' and curled up you could probably get a couple hours sleep. You start to feel a bit uncomfortable in that position. No comparison to full flat and 7+ hours sleep.
