Worse than feet on bulkheads

Agreed. No idea how that is supposed to be comfortable.

We were just commenting on this the other day when driving up to the in-laws place north of Perth, as to the increasing number of people we'd seen with a foot (or feet!) up on the dashboard. Looks horrendously uncomfortable to me.

I have no idea how you can assess an economy seat to be preferable to a first class one It's a case of YMMV

I pay $700 for an economy seat. Business class and First class are over $2,000.

I'd rather have 3 trips in economy than 1 trip in a premium cabin.

Still don't understand how a foot on the car dash is even remotely comfortable.

Last night was a classic...
boarding LA801/QF322 SCL-SYD. Boarding almost complete. I'm in 2A, one of the last to arrive is the the "Australian gentleman" in 1A. Young man, mid-30's , looks tired and emotional, I think is the euphemism.

Immediately says to the CSM, I don't want to disturb. No food, no drinks, just let me sleep. In a very curt way. Takes his seat.

Think nothing more of it, until we are taxiing for take off about 10 minutes later. FA is handing out amenity kits. Doesn't disturb Mr 1A at all, just places the kit on middle drink/arm rest. Then starts to move on. Mr 1A, who is 'sleeping' with his pillow, arises , picks up said amenity kit and without a word throws it at the FA. Hitting her in the head. No damage done, just so f...'n rude. Man in 1B, takes issue with this, oh heck!!

Arguement ensues..... with Mr 1A moved to vacant 5A...

Nothing else happened. I alighted in AKL. Didn't see him in the QF Lounge on the layover. Assume he continued to SYD

Could be interesting IF the airbag happened to deploy.

There was a lady in the news a few months back, when they crashed the impact/airbag pushed her knee back into her face. Broken leg etc. Definitely not a good idea.

It's exactly the same for Economy class seating. It all depends on the person's height. Short people can find Economy seating just as comfortable and sometimes more so than having the excess room of Business or FIrst class. Same with using a dashboard as a footrest. If you're very short, it can seemingly be perfectly comfortable.

Couldn’t agree more!

Seems like most of those who play on the bus/train/street never took a guitar lesson in their lives, or maybe they just enjoy annoying everyone.

Well some people who have the flexibility do find it comfortable, very comfortable. When I sit on my lounge at home I've been know to put my feet up on the arm rest as well.

This is the example I was thinking of: This is why you shouldn't put your feet on the dashboard, mom warns

Broken leg, arm, ankle and nose. It's just not worth the risk.

Having had to manage the repercussions of a foot on the dashboard on more than one occasion you won't ever catch me doing it. Regardless of the likelihood.
