CX still has a better and cheaper product, you just need to originate in Asia

Walking through the J cabin on my recent flight from KUL-PER indeed its a new plane but the seats dont look and feel comfortable at all. However if I had a choice of J vs Y, its a no brainer

MH cheap J to LAX

I saw this over on the other FF board.

It will require a positioning flight and an overnighter in KL but return flights from either Phnom Penh (PNH) or Siem Reap (REP) to LAX on MH in J for around $2,500. Pricing at EURO1900 on expedia.ie, and US$2,500 on the MH website directly.

Earns 600 SC so instand gold requal. There apprear to be some limited dates but I got it for end of May and early June.

positioning flight up to pnh from Perth is about $700 rtn with Jet*

There is some info in this thread. Looks like the price went up? Last time I checked it was less than $2.2k USD.

Will be in Thailand a lot this year..very tempting.

MH Business ex Hong Kong to Australia are on sale again for around 1.6k - 1.7k AUD.
