Keep shopping Princess and we will be in awe of your packing skills. Picture required with US goodies.
Shintaro10x and I have a Wednesday plan in Adelaide this week so we are hoping for inspiration over perspiration!
It is tough trying for the top rung in AFF.

Just checked my inbox. And got the same offer. Well, not exactly the same, it's 100 point per product.

Hmm, trolley run...

Is it valid for this week? That would mean the cost would be well under 1 cent per point!!

I would not hesitate now that you know how to do it!!

I hope to see many trolley run Trip reports with photos!

Does it say it can be redeemed multiple times?

Joshua is it frustrating to see some people get a 100 points per select item offer this week meaning it they can do what you did for half the cost?

If I was ever presented with an opportunity to earn/buy points for less than 1 cent per point I would jump at it!

I bought (just) 76 Select items yesterday. I never realised there’s a Select brand for almost every product out there so if that was their intention with this promotion then it is working. Select branded nail clippers anyone?

They make a higher margin on their Select brand items, so happily push off "brand names" to promote what might be considered an inferior product. Wow the analogy with QF is stunning.

Indeed. The promotion appears to be designed to encourage people to buy private label, which may explain why none of us can determine the exact logic/profile required to trigger the offer.

Valid until Sunday the 1st. Just as well, as we fly to lax on the 2nd. I'll be pushing to have enough time for a decent Trolley Run

Sure does, "offer applies to card blah, and can be redeemed multiple times during the offer period" I'm assuming that multiple items on the same docket are OK then?

100 points / item would be sweet. I had something similar with Big W a year or two ago but didn't take up the offer properly. Unfortunately you never know if a better offer is around the corner, and no different to double SC offers - if you get it or not is seemingly random.

RSPCA is grateful to take the cat food, the smaller packets actually suit them for some purposes but they obviously don't usually purchase it that way.

I'm looking at dropping off most of the seasoning to the Foodbank, thanks for that suggestion.

Okay part 2 currently is: I've gone in and asked for the long life inventory manager then got them to order whatever they could. In my case he would only order in the 100s of units, not 1000s. May try a different store and take a rain check for the current sale price.

As far as the click and collect goes, I don't think it would save *that* much time if you know where to look you can have them within a minute, but certainly requesting they order them in for you (in quantity) is the way to go.

Good luck all.

Hmm. The local deli owners out my way seem to get away with ordering by the pallet load (mind you we are talking things like Coke here). Maybe a pallet of Taco Seasoning is in order!

If it was me and there were late night/24 hour woolworths around my area I would rather exhaust myself all Friday night/Sat/Sat night earning 100,000+ QFF points for a days work, and, what, $650 and then sleep on the flight the next day knowing my next flight had just been paid for!

How many would you buy if they could get as many as you wanted? Surely you can't fit more than 1000 in your car anyway? At what point would you have too many points?

Can you pre-pay for them/pay a big deposit to entice the manager the order a big lot?

I don't want them in the car, you can fit a couple thousand in if you tried tho. Ideally will have them delivered directly to the RSPCA or have them pick it up from Woolworths.

A million points would probably be the limit, but I doubt I'll get that far (nor have the immediate disposable cash to throw at it). But between myself travelling all the time and WP GF who is going to be based in the EU for a year, we can use them up :)

They didn't want me to pre-pay, I'm going to try another store today to see if I get a better response.

Looking at the WW catalogue starting tomorrow, I can see only 1 macro and 1 select product on sale. Both around 2 dollars per item, probably making it too expensive to make it worthwhile for select/macro offers.

But surely basic everyday select items like cat/dog food would always be cheaper than that?

The catalog only highlights SOME specials, and there is usually an additional lot added late in the week.

cat food at .69c,,,, I wonder how many cans the North Melbourne cat home go through in a week and if they have a loading dock??

There are some regional cat/dog homes that really need pet food as well. I think there is one in the Macedon ranges that requires pet food.

Woolworths online customer service rep seemed a bit perplexed with my enquiry.. but he's going to check with a supervisor and come back to me..
