I started 2012 as NB having once in my lifetime reached PS. Thanks to a double SC offer coinciding with a burst of flexi fares I've finally cracked it. looking forward to experiencing the Sydney first lounge next year. :):lol::D

Congratulations ashleyn.. I'm sure that you will enjoy the extended pleasantries.. & a nicer status card.

Well done - it's easier to retain than earn ... but worth it if you travel a lot.

I am in exactly the same position as you!

However a few JASA's will get me from Gold to Plat rather fast, combined with a double SC offer!

My first ever F lounge visit in MEL early next year

- Earn up to 100,000 bonus Qantas Points*
- Enjoy an annual $450 Qantas travel credit

Congratulations ashleyn! It takes a lot of Y flying to get to WP!

Enjoy the benefits, as it certainly makes travel more enjoyable than sitting out in the terminals.

Well done on making WP (other post was moved). But don't wait til next year to use the F lounge... make it an early Christmas present!

Well done guys. I'm surprised to find some people who I assumed where platinum aren't actually platinum, yet. I need to recalibrate my assumption meter.

Re: Double SC's - A mere Markerting tool or Doom for WP?

Congratulations to Ashleyn and lovestotravel.

Welcome to the WP club, don't worry we don't all live up to the W in WP.

Well done, welcome to the club :) And yes, enjoy the F lounge at every opportunity, you've earned it.

Congratulations on becoming a newly minted WP! Be sure to fly out of MEL and SYD internationally whenever you can to enjoy the F lounge ;)

Well done - I have just hit WP also and planning to lounge hop my way around HK this week :)

Be sure to check out the new CX F Lounge at HKG (The Wing) when it opens next Feb - The QF SYD F Lounge may have some competition :)

Congrats to both of you,, enjoy your new status in any way that makes flying more enjoyable for you and your families, :)
