Not sure. I think I need to call Hilton and book a room and say that I will be using a member for a stay voucher. In the past I had to provide the activation number which as far as I am aware is not on the card you gave me.
JohnK,

You have a PM.

Oops. I forgot to answer this one.

Yes, if we have NZ addresses.
But presumably the "$99 stay" would be for Hiltons in NZ only:(

I thought it would be valid anywhere in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Would it be possible to find the most expensive Hilton and use the $99 stay there? Or is it difficult to book rooms on this rate?

You might be right, but I guess it is academic only unless you have a NZ address...

I had Hilton Sydney in mind...;)

Sometimes there is no availability and sometimes there is. Like anything else really. If they only have top of the line rooms available they probabily won't give them for $99. People have used them in Auckland & Sydney which are about the most expensive.

My AUD99 stay was actualy NZD113 for the AKL hilton.

I am certainly interested, especially if the rollover will give me ongoing membership to subsequent May(s).

I'll contact my partner. :D

Hey guys,

Just had a associate renew his membership and he has informed me that the $99 card is not valid in Fiji. Only in Australia and New Zealand.

Also, that is correct, i have stayed at both the Hilton Auckland and Hilton Sydney and both are the more expensive of the Hilton Premium Club associated hotels. That is correct that the $99 card can be booked at any Hiton Australia and New Zealand depending on availabilty. But that is understandable. I prefer Hilton Sydney though ;).

The Fiji hilton resort is also pricey, but the $99 card cannot be used there. I've had i little holiday there as well and i must say very impressed with the quality of the service and quality of the rooms.

Has any one else had the pleasure of stay at the Fiji Beach Resort & Spa - Managed by Hilton?

This is correct. The $99 card applies to Australia and New Zealand.

(Interestingly, and not that it matters to me, but from what I can make of the Terms and Conditions, the dining benefits apply in French Polynesia as well.)

Well I stayed at the Fiji resort at Easter. The rooms are great. The service was underwhelming.no status recognition.A building site where work had slowed to a crawl.Rates that are over the top.I would prefer to stay at the Denarau villas and have dinner at the Port's O Call in the desperately in need of a refurb Sheraton resort. It is about a third the price.

I stayed at the AKL Hilton earlier this month at the $99 rate.

Note this is AUD99 and at the time of booking I was advised it would be NZD113. (Although for NZ residents it is still NZD99).

Interesting, do to exchange rate changes, this NZD$113 eventually made it to my CC as AUD97.55. ;)

Hi there guys,

Haven't stayed at the Sheraton as of yet. I can't really make a comment on that, But have to say Fiji is just a great lace to forget about the busy corporate lifestyle.

I have just made my fisrt online booking through Hilton Premium Club - HOME. This website i must say has proven to be a great investment. It makes my life real easy i tell you.

I will be staying at the Hilton in Sydney in a couple of weeks. Has anyone else made a booking via the website? Make sure to enter the Bangkok competition. I hope i win, i'm getting much of a break over Christmas :(. But thats life.

I'm still looking for people who are interested in joining a corporate (group) membership of The Hilton Premium Club.

As mentioned previously the price is $1000 for four people for 2 years and the bit I didn't know before it's $150 for each additional member (1 or 2 years). ie with eight people it's $1000 (for 4) plus $150 X 4 equals $1600 or $200 per person.

I currently have Mal, kpc, JohnK and myself as interested parties and serfty +1 as maybe's. I possibly have one other external person interested.

Anyone else :?:

Hi Bill, are you saying that it's $150 for each additional member after the first 4 members for TWO years membership? If that's correct, it will only be $200 each for TWO years membership if we can sign up 8 members:lol: That's a graet deal if we can find at least one more person to sign up!

kpc,

Correct. It's an extra $150 whether they join for one OR two years. (a no brainer me thinks)

straitman,

I am interested, but I am in the middle of a two year membership (still have a over a year to go)

I am not in a hurry but if anyone is keen to get membership ASAP then we can get the ball rolling with 7 interested cost will be ~$207 each. Even if only 6 interested cost is still OK at ~$217 each.

I don't want to sound stingy in any way, because I am not, but assuming we kick this off then we will be foundation members and pay whatever our share of membership cost happens to be upfront. Is there is a possibility that someone is going to piggyback onto our corporate membership a few months down the track and only pay $150 for 2 year membership while we have paid over $200 for the same 2 year membership?

JohnK,

The prices I'm quoting are available until 31 Dec 07 and so I was looking at getting this done sometime just before then. The way it was put to me was that it's a group at a time so I believe the answer to your last question is no and I think that appropriate.
Currently the possibilities that I have are for 8 people though I'm waiting for several to confirm so that would be $200 per person.

A little is happening each day with this.

Hmm, byt the sound of that there would be little point me joining, and I will need to get a group together around the time mine expires.
