You know you are a frequent flyer when ...

......... you are driving out to MEL on the same tank of juice that you brought you back from MEL after your last return from o/s to the 'Land of the Budgie Smugglers'

...you think about spending the day in your room at the LAX Hilton as it has such a good view of the air movements rather than going somewhere 'interesting' before your evening flight.

That might be a boy thing though.

And when you are using the LAX free WiFi to post this from the plane...

No, it's not just a 'boy' thing. :p I've enjoyed nice runway views from the Executive lounge courtesy of being a Hilton Hhonors Gold while enjoying the complimentary canapes in the evening.

I agree with OzBB; remember watching the arrivals and departures from a guest room we were shooting at Hilton Melbourne Airport several years ago. Was a nice break to just chill for 15 minutes. ;)

Will back you up here too! I spent ages over breakfast one morning up there doing the same.

First time I stayed in an airport view room at Rydges SYD I woke up at 6am to watch all the morning action at international, although waking up too early defies the purpose of staying in an airport hotel...

.....you jump in the hire car and your iPhone "pairs" with the car due to it being setup by you on a previous hire.

Or the crew at the car hire desk know your plane has landed - are looking out for you -see you coming and just hold out the key pack , just like they hold out water on the marathon course......... No D.L. check ... nothing ...grab gone.... and 'your car' is in 'your spot' on their lot waiting for you.

And in the same vein, you know the operation of your preferred hire cars better than you know the operation of your own drive! (especially, which side the wipers are as opposed to the indicators and which side the fuel filler is located without looking at the dash)!

When you get sick of trying to remember where you're supposed to be sitting this week.....so just select 13F for the next 6 flights

When you are checking-in at the airport and find out you forgot to book the ticket...
With so many Domestic flights it happened to me more then once and every time It was both embarrassing and costly.
