You know you are a frequent flyer when ...

My wife - a girl from Mackay :) - is not a frequent flyer, but when you do a lap back to the homeland after living overseas it can be a true FF experience - a few minutes ago, in the lounge in SCL heading back to Colombia, she said during a conversation: "I've been sleeping so well in that place - where was it? - Australia"

We are very tired :)

You know you are a frequent flyer when: You flash your "Platinum-emblazoned" boarding pass to dragon one and dragon two and confidently dissect the two and proceed to your next dream sequence.

When the CSM welcomes you back on board and makes mention the fact, that they haven't travelled since they saw me and spoke to me last week (on board).

You always have at least three currencies in your wallet.

Just checked, have AUD (obviously), US dollar, Peruvian Sols and Mexican Pesos....! Plus Colombian Pesos and Euros in the desk drawer. But they don't count as not in the wallet.

You get grumpy with friends who insist on using travel agents to book their SYD-OOL flights.

Did you "educate" those friends?

I couldn't help but "educate" a friend of mine the other day who booked a train ticket from Sydney to Brisbane  that cost about 50% more than a JQ price-beat fare.

 There must have been a reason.....extra status credits needed for that next tier or renewal.........more points.........to get a good seat, perhaps.........something, surely!

At MEL, checking in for a QFi flight.
SWMBO: Which counter do we use here?
Me: We don't use the counters, we use that room *point to the F check-in area*.

Just recently...

You walk along a footpath and give the evil eye to someone walking on the 'wrong' side then realise that it's you walking on the wrong side.

You get to security at SYD and empty your pockets, take your shoes off and remove your belt before you realise you aren't about to go through a full body scanner again.

When remembering things for your domestic flight you make sure you grab your passport before going out the door.
