You know you are a frequent flyer when ...

Both .

What about all three? :p
I've decided then you know you are a true FF when you become inured to the 'random' dusting opportunity when passing through security ... it happens, and if to you, then have a nice chat about the officer's day as your bags are being processed.:D

When you arrive at the airport and the check in staff ask where you're flying to... and you've forgotten...

When you land, walk to the hire car collection point cannot find your car and realise you're at your home airport.

This sounds silly, but it's happened to me on few occasions! (Especially flying to the Whitsundays and I alternate between MKY, HTI and PPP).

Or have a car booked simultaneously at multiple airports (that you've forgotten to cancel) due to flight changes!

Happened to me many times. I tend to book weeks in advance as price is usually cheaper but often change my plans and forget to cancel. Lucky it cost nothing.

I've started to subscribe to the JessicaTam method of presenting my bag to the officer as it gives you a nice clear space to get your things back together and yourself organized :)

The other obvious answer is being a AFF member seems to include you in this category .... And tell ur stories

You beat me to my own story! :)

Basically if it is a quiet queue I am likely to be checked anyway, so might as well take advantage of it.

There was a couple of times when I was "randomly" selected as there was only a 1 out of 1 choice available. So if you're heading in by yourself, and there's nobody else around, the check becomes mandatory.

Haha being 1 of 1 happens a lot at the VA premium entry in SYD/BNE! I really need to borrow this idea and start proactively offering my bag for swabbing before I put my laptop back in... thanks! ;)

you attempt to change seats at T-80 and just shake your head. (I get to observe either an idiot or a serious sense of entitlement later this week)

Both of my current and last belt were rather expensive ($80 and $110) neither set off the metal detector gate. The surprising one was the roo skin Florshiems where the metal in the sole set off the beep at BNE domestic. Beautiful shoes, very light weight. But they are consigned to wedding duty now.

Doesn't everyone love "B"? ;)

Ah the genius logic behind that I believe is that a couple won't be able to sit there so the pax in 5B thinks they will get three seats to themselves. :what:

The reality is a tad different as it could well be a full flight so 5B will just end up with a solo seatmate either side that has a window or aisle preference. :p

Going for the double shadow! Personally if I wanted to sit up front, I'd be happy to go with 5A and C, I like the window, my travelling partner the aisle!
