I've never actually done this before so quite interesting.

20 sectors - 35634 miles - 6 Airports - 4 Countries - 4 carriers2016 flights.JPG

Lowest year of travel in 10 years, only two legs Queenstown - Sydney - Perth .....

Had my busiest year yet :)
1 new country ( Canada )
2 new airports (CVG and YQB)

Wow that's is a pretty cool feature I didn't know existed.

Anyone else having an issue when trying to enter a round trip and the page freezes when entering the final (originating) city?

An odd year for me - only two work trips (Canada and Chile) and two holiday trips, with new countries Oman, India and Turkey. New carriers Oman Air, Turkish, Pegasus, and Cathay Dragon.

147,000km in 69 segments; lowest since 2010.

2016.jpg

Main stats:

134 segments
226749 miles
12 countries

Had I think my biggest year ever. Many many milestones.

1.- A real big one for me was reaching P1 with Qantas, even though QF is my second program (my principal one is Lifemiles as I am based in Colombia)

2.- Reached QF LTG

3.- Flew real First for first time (QF LHR-DXB-SYD and MEL-DXB-LHR)

4.- The MEL-DXB flight was piloted by JB, who I met :)

5.- 1.000.000 miles flown (have done a few more actually but this is what I have on Flight Tracker)

For 2017 I expect a tad less travel, but will be doing quite a lot on small aircraft into jungle areas in Colombia - no Flounges there :(

Hooray! I actually think of this thread throughout the year when I fly on a new airline or to a new airport :D

- 60,531 miles from 55 segments (compared to 137,647 miles from 53 segments in 2015)

- all in Y again
:(

- new airlines: just one - Pacific Island Air (I flew one segment in an immaculate 1956 DHC Otter - definitely the highlight of the year)

- new airports: CBR, HND, LST, NAN, PTF.

Still have BNE-SYD-SIN for 2016, which will leave me a miserable 5,130 miles short of joining the million miler club.... this will be rectified in the first few days of 2017.

No work travel this year, so a relatively large leisure year for me. 2017 will see a huge increase in work travel (new job) and likely leisure.

42 segments for 73,187km for 4 days 16 hours of flying

25 Y, 1 PE, 15 J, 1 F

All Asia, TT and NZ Domestic

This is the first year since 2008 that I have done less than 100 flights or less than 100,000 miles. I will never exceed this year’s stats as I have recently stopped flying for work, or going to work for that matter!

91 segments
78313 miles
8 days 13:39

21 Airports
8 Carriers
9 Countries

Longest: DFW-SYD (in F)
Shortest: BKQ-LRE (in Y)
Segments:
Y: 66 (51% by distance)
J: 20 (25 % by distance)
F: 5 (24% by distance)
61 flights were for work, all in Y except for a couple of op-ups.
30 flights were for leisure, almost all in F or J.

Another little statistic; this is my 1000[SUP]th[/SUP] AFF post. That only took 6.5 years!

No further plans for the next nine days ... so:
