Your Travel in 2010....Monthly Updates

Very little flying time for me this month, only 4 sectors returning from Tampa, Florida. :(

The end of July also marks the end of my QFF membership year. Made SG this year, but fell 300 SC short of WP. :( The joy of travelling discount economy.

I wish I had that many destination miles :(

If your holidays are starting to bank up, you should probably consider burning those within the next 9 months (more or less).

End of year trip already spoken for with a OW Circle Asia. Am looking at burning those miles to either Taipei or Bali for Easter on SQ (depending on which W opens first), though a little silly going via SIN if it's DPS as I much prefer a direct flight for such a short sector.

Notes:
All MEL-SYD-MEL and incredibly boring.
As this was my first month ever as a platinum I have noticed a few things:
Often the seat next to me is unallocated.
The J class lounge isn't nearly as crowded at peak times, and the food/booze is much better.

Things unrelated to my FF status:
Why on earth does Qantas give so many Curries as dinners, im up to like 10 weeks in a row! - im now eating the better food in the Jclass lounge before travel.

Meals are varied on some sort of basis no less than a month ISTR (probably seasons *shrug*). That, coupled with pure chance, could be why you're eating the same thing over and over.

Whilst I'm not a week-in-week-out traveller, I do remember the QF Y meals like the back of my hand. I've eating Kung Pao Chicken more times than I can count on my hands!

I have to say, I miss the days of travelling almost every week (but I don't miss the workload!)

Hi I am new to this site even though I am a frequent traveller. Would be interested to know what constitutes heavy travel. Last year I travelled about 150,000 miles and ended up with about 3,200 Qantas Status credits. What do other people do?
