For reference i only earnt 100SC this year

Since my flying is mostly self-funded I achieved roughly the same amount of SCs... this is a generous offer IMHO which I've just received too and one I won't hesitate to take up. I hope business-wise it stacks up for DJ.

I got the offer to too. I was planning my to let my membership it drop to gold. But this offer is pretty good.

Now the question - what are the cheapest business class fares that would be eligible for this offer?

I see syd-cbr is $399 each way, but there really doesnt seem to be any cheap specials on now. i dont know if spending $1600 on flights i wouldnt otherwise be taking is worthwhile. there is probably better value in one of the partner airline offers, Delta domestic first might work out at a reasonable price. but i wont be in the US over the next month anyway

Also got this, I currently only have 190 SC but most legs I've taken are only worth 10 SC as they are Saver regional flights.
Will definitely take this up.

This is going to really piss off those who retained their plat the hard way and were hoping the QF refugees would drop away. Interesting idea though, and better than just comping IMO.

Got the offer today too. Have only taken a handful of Virgin flights, not even close to re-qualifying. If it was one J return may done. SC run. However all my spare cashola has been invested in Dividend miles :)

Interesting. Mildly p'ed off although 2 return J class fares are decent investment of time and cash.

I got an offer too...but mine was slightly different

Ah, so the different levels are getting different sweeteners. That's understandable. Wonder what Silvers are getting (if anything)?

LOL you are not wrong with 3500 SC I want my kids gold upgraded to Platinum

for those of you who have received the offer - is your requal date within the next 2-3 months?

I wonder if we can combine this with the Virgin Flyer CC 2 for 1 offer? There is nothing in the T&C's saying you can't combine with another offer... And it means MrsDeKa could come along for the ride.

Do 2 for 1 offer flights earn full SCs?

Yes my date is early September. However I had heaps of future flights booked in the system past that date also

I'm thinking it's for all the status matches, whose dates should be on or close to 1 September.

I've only done 1 flight this year and received the offer. Year ending mid September, but need to fly by mid Aug

Australia's highest-earning Velocity Frequent Flyer credit card: Offer expires: 21 Jan 2025

Nothing for me, but I've requalified. They should make me an offer to go for Platinum
