Having been purchasing numerous items from various vendors through Velocity's Shop and Earn site but haven't been earning any points.

Transactions I was told are supposed to appear within 48 hours, mine purchases are over 30 days old and still nothing has appeared.

Contacted Velocity, but they are as helpful as an umbrella in an avalanche. Said that I should not even be conatcting them till 60 days has expired, even though "When you buy something, the transaction will appear in your ShopAndEarn Transaction History as ‘Pending’ within 1 working day"

Yeh right! This isn't even happening.

What a joke.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

Kinks? The site has been up and running for months. Regardless, I have been appauled by the service provided to me.

Including asking me to resubmit claims whilst I still awaiting points to be credited from January.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

Couldn't agree more. I've been really frustrated with Shop and Earn. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.

For example purchases using the iTunes store are not browser based and there is no way for commission monster to track the purchase, but I just receive fob off responses from Velocity Blue about this.

When chasing up with other purchases, I normally receive the same 'check your browser' response. It's all rote responses, I'm not sure the emails are actually read.

Shop and Earn is a great idea, but so poorly executed and supported that it's a joke.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

Agree, agree, agree. Great concept but at the rate Velocity are going thats all it will be.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

With the acception of ebay, all the transactions i have put through shop and earn have appeared within 24 hours like they state on their website, and I have done a bit over 90 transactions now through many different retailers.

They were gennerally very good until last week when I enquired about some tranactions which had not been processed. They told me twice that they had been processed to my account, when clearly they hadnt been. The third email I sent to them was a tad more rude, and finally they fixed my problem (I hope - they said the points would appear in my account on monday, so we shall see).

For those interested, I use firefox with my cookie settings at low, which enable the points to be credited from the retailer to shop and earn.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

I succeeded with signing up for Lasoo (95 points), I signed up yesterday afternoon and got an automated email this morning to advise that the points have gone into pending status.

I'm using firefox 3.

Not earn is correct - for me it's been a COMPLETE waste of time.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

I still have no response or points from velocity. Will keep you all posted. Its been over 5 months since one me my purchases and 2 months since i raised the issue.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

As promised keeping you updated. After writing a fairly strong email, I finally have received a response that is heading in the right direction...but still not points.

The abbreviation of the response went something like this:

Thank you for you email.... escalated this matter to supervisor and will certainly reply.....by end of next week. Apologies

Finally received some acceptable customer service, lets see what happens in a weeks time.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

Unfortunately but not a surprise, Velocity after promising to contact me at the end of this week (COB today) regarding my lost points, have NOT.

Their reply last week went like this:

"Hello,
Thank you for you email dated 23 May 2009 about your awaiting points on Shop and Earn Store.

Just to inform you, I have already escalated this matter to my supervisor and we will certainly reply you in regards of your awaiting points by end of next week."

This "certainly reply" did NOT occur and I still have NOT had points credited.

The this apauling service. Why waste time dealing with an organisation that does not keep up their promises, which by the way is a verbal contract?

There seems like there is no other way to deal with these organisations other than affecting their bottom line and simply leaving on mass.

I am extremely disappointed with Velocity, Shop and NOT earn

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

Have to ask... is it really worth your time and effort now? Maybe its time to cut your losses and save your sanity!!

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

I have successfully had points from Snapfish go to pending status. Its quite a good deal - 500 points for any order.

I had the same thing happen on Friday last week after many emails - they even gave me a phone call to let me know!

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

I've had no luck either. Should have received around 4000 points from purchases via shop and earn and Apple Store.

I'm logged in to velocity when I click thorugh to Apple store from shop and earn, but nothing ever appears as pending in my points.
