Hi folks - related to a DSC booking I'm trying to put in... but question is actually on some non-QF flights within that planned booking. Is there still a reliable way to find the specific fare class/es for an itinerary within the QF website, whilst still preparing the booking, as opposed to afterwards, in MMB? I'm exploring options that include MH, and there are some tough restrictions on certain fare classes! @serfty - I understand you might have been an expert on this area, from back in the day? I saw your name on an old FT chat about this one just now :)

Cheers,
Matt.

Have P1 for another year and won't be requalifying. Soft land to WP the following year.
LTP is very unlikely.

I'm thinking there would be no use for DSC, unless there are factors I'm not considering?
Yeah I'm about to hit LTG and in the same boat - and that's even with the 1800 SC rollover I'll get.

In 12 months time, knowing that I'll be soft landing to WP, there may be some incentive then.

If you are booking via Qantas.com, go though the process (don't use express) ensuring you input your Qantas frequent flyer number(s), right up to the payment page - then stop.

Open another tab/browser, log in to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account, go to the your bookings page and you should see the new booking there. Open up and segment fare bucket classes should be revealed.

(If you are happy, I guess at that point you could complete the booking on the original browser/tab before it times out.)

Thank you! Will give it a try later this morning. Didn’t realise it would create a seekable booking ref before payment

Still not working for me this morning. :(
Still working for me (I can click the link multiple times and register, reregister and receive confirmation email each time).

Are you using a VPN or something else that *might* be blocking registration?

I seem to recall issues if the same email address is used on more than one account, you dont happen to have your email addy on the kids or partners accounts?

Other than that check email preferences, spam and try registering online instead of via app.

Any ideas of decent status runs from Darwin? Looking like DRW-AKL-SYD is 660SC at $2700ish. Or if codeshares are allowable, NOU?? Help!

Haven't you ever received a "forgotten something" type of email from Qantas after abandoning an online booking?
Nope! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten that far without stopping. I’m sure there’s a nasty reference I could put in there, but I’ll leave it at that 😂

Thankyou. It worked when I changed my email address as I use the same email address as my kids.

Absolute maximum, and I think this is copy & pasted from the days you could use codeshares on other oneworld airlines.

It normally credits within 72 hours from memory.
Does anyone know what happens if the double status credits post after your renewal date even if the travel took place before then and you need them to attain/maintain a status level? I'm thinking of the worst case '8 week to credit' scenario.

It's retrospective - so if you just miss out due to slow posting, you will still get the new status when they finally do

If facing downgrade, I would imagine you can call and ask for them to be assigned manually.

It won't be 8 weeks though. 1 week maybe.

Nope, just the one email address on the one account. And nothing in junk mail.

Nope, no VPN and also have the ad blocker disabled for the Qantas site.

So I gave up and called QFF and the matter was resolved in minutes - apparently my email and mobile phone number had been marked as invalidated in my profile. Which is bizarre as I've never changed them and I am still receiving some Qantas newsletters and web site OTPs. 🤷‍♂️ After the agent marked them as valid I was able to register immediately.

Would that not be DRW-XYZ-AKL-SYD?
I was looking for CHC-MEL and CHC-AKL-SYD-MEL on JQ/QF/QF showed (all QF flight numbers) And a CHC-BNE-MEL [did not book any]
