Just received this email about QF's new booking system allowing combo cash and classic flights in one booking and this was at the end:

Not sure if this will be a permanent thing or a limited offer like Virgin Australia had....

Sounds like it might be a one off offer. I can't imagine it will be a permanent change if they're saying it's "special". Might be like the 50% bonus offers they're having.

Just got this email myself and was skim reading till I saw the part about SCs on Classics. If it's a permanent thing then it would actually be a true improvement and resolve the whole MASA debacle! We can only hope

Ongoing may be the end of mASA's ...

Not a good thing as at would mean the end of MEL-ASP via SYD for 24000 points or TSV-xBNE-DRW etc.

Maybe for once Q have listened to the hoards of complaints about removing the online ASA feature and the cost to them for trying to implement the ridiculous MASA offline lottery with so much wasted time for both sides.

No doubt Red Roo will be along shortly to enlighten us if this is a new permanent feature.

So mASA's price on a start-point to end-point distance with essentially free stops in between but classics will add each leg to get the price?
