Of course, it's really only "teasing" if you are the one being teased. Otherwise, it's called "stirring (or arousing) interest". Also called a component of marketing (so go shoot the people who invented marketing).

I just find it annoying not to be told the full story or when it may commence or if its a permanent feature, teasing customers is not the way to do business.
