QF are the masters at getting journalists to advertise for them, even when there’s nothing new to report. I’d like to say this is a reflection of smart people at Qantas, but in reality it’s probably just a reflection of how journalists (and their audiences) in Australia are.

I think if they eased the caps the ‘want to return home’ crowd would cease to be a problem pretty quick as the prohibitive cost of HQ and flights with ~15 available seats would end.

I think they should have a choice after the other groups have had a choice. Younger age groups have sacrificed so much in order to protect the older age groups. IMO it’s pretty untenable for older people to then push in front for a Pfizer when AZ is available.
