Credit Card Offers Westpac Altitude Black offers: 120,000 Qantas or Velocity Points (expires 30/4/25)

But it has to be linked to an everyday account, which is where the fees are.

Credit Card Offers Westpac Altitude Black offers: 120,000 Qantas or Velocity Points (expires 30/4/25)

I did likewise with a "Westpac Reward Saver" account back in March, 2016. I still have the Westpac login, but that account is long gone due to lack of use, and that account type is no longer available. I can't see any fee free ways now, short of cycling $2000 through a "Westpac Choice" account...

Are you Going to use the COVIDsafe App?

Even after disposing of several 2G-only and 2G / 3G2100-only 'phones, I still have 11 spares. Of those, 8 are Android, but only 4 are running 6.0 or later. What are the powers that be actually counting? If each registration needs a unique mobile number to be counted, I've still got another 15...

Are you Going to use the COVIDsafe App?

Could be an opportunity for @harvyk to develop a DickheadSafe app??

BP Plus + Qantas Business Rewards (Earn up to 100,000 Qantas points)

Canberra is much the same. I'll crunch some numbers later to come up with a rough cost of the bonus points, but my gut feeling is that it won't be worth it for me.

    AA and United in CBR

They were both LAX-SYD flights, and have since left CBR and landed in SYD, according to FR24. I'm guessing that the weather had something to do with it.

ANZ Rewards Black 75k bonus, no first year annual fee, $2500 spend in first 3 months

Yes, both the ANZ Rewards and the ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures cards earn ANZ Rewards points. When I last closed an ANZ Rewards card I didn't have to use the points within the usual period, as I still had (and still have) an ANZ RTA card. I confirmed this with ANZ over the 'phone at the time...

ANZ Rewards Black 75k bonus, no first year annual fee, $2500 spend in first 3 months

Yes, ANZ treat the Frequent Flyer, Rewards and Travel Adventures cards separately. :)

ANZ Rewards Black 75k bonus, no first year annual fee, $2500 spend in first 3 months

Whilst fewer points on offer, the Internet banking offer on the Rewards Platinum ($95 annual fee) has a lower cost per point: "65,000 bonus Reward Points and $50 back to your new ANZ Rewards Platinum when you make one eligible purchase in the first 3 months." I've got another four months on...

CBR begins the long hot summer with no rain but we don't have climate change get together 04 December 2019

I can't think of anything preventing me from attending, so please count me in. Not sure about Karen though. She often doesn't know until the day.

Issues with QF app & website today?

You'd think that Qantas would've put some more work experience kids on for the day, wouldn't you?

Issues with QF app & website today?

I'm trying to check flight options for Mrs 2905 for this Thursday. Website and Android app both throwing the same error.

    Citibank Signature Qantas 150,000 points

Applied for this one yesterday morning, straight after applying for the ANZ FF Black. (Just cancelled a Virgin Flyer Visa, but still hold a FFFL Citi Signature Visa.) Approval SMS and e-mail from Citi this afternoon. WTF?..... have they dispensed with the obligatory 'phone call, asking where you...

    Citibank Signature Qantas 150,000 points

That's what I would do (and will do, if I'm approved when I apply later in the week). $444 for 50,000 points works out to 0.888 ¢/point, which is pretty meh. Then consider that it's tying up at least $15,000 of your total credit limit, and that so many things don't earn points.

AMEX - Shop Small November 2019

I've found the e-mails to be a bit hit-and-miss sometimes for past Shop Smalls, but this time around the TPG e-mail filter had sent them all to the spam folder. I've since created a filter rule so they'll go to my inbox now. (Collectively, the 2905 household only has three Amex cards now; Mrs...

So, about this "wider acceptance" thing...

Whilst my local chemist now accepts Amex, at two restaurants that we frequent, they no longer do. One step forward, two steps backwards.
