On the first page of the Finnair e-ticket, where the Itinerary is, it should clearly show the Class for each flight

I didn't push too hard, but the Lounge agent pulled out a big folder, went to the VA page and it did clearly state international only.

When I last flew with Alitalia (May 2017), the VA Gold access to their lounge was only good for international flights. So my FCO to CAG sector didn't allow access, but my FCO to BCN did.

Just tested out the process on an upcoming flight. $40 for a MEL-CBR return to go for exit row, also gave me the option of spending 5,500 points. This was on a Red e-deal, so you can use a 1/4 of the points required for a business upgrade for the exit row luxury.

I've only been during summer for mountain biking. Also experienced very cheap alcohol and duty free items. Didn't look like much else was on offer. Presumably it is the same in winter, just substituting biking for skiing.

For PMI and BCN, it depends on where you are flying to, Schengen or non-Schengen. For BCN the Colomer is only available to the MAD-BCN shuttle flights. Miro is for non-Schengen and the Pau Casals is for Schengen. All of the lounges are practically an exact replica of one another

I have done it before from 3K - QF and vice versa. They wouldn't allow it for a JQ - 3K for some reason. The Jetstar site has further info, but considering the transfers desk is on the way to immigration it doesn't take much of your time to ask.
