    SunFlight

I actually use a sun seeker app when looking at properties to work out where the sun will hit. It isn't always that obvious given the sun will rise and set during longer journeys.

    Qantas Delays/Cancellations

re: General Qantas Delays/Cancellations/etc. Discussion Like that time when you blew up the air cylinder? Personally I would almost enjoy a one hour delay outbound. More time in the lounge and a later arrival into the UK.

    That would be amazing.

Qantas Cash [ID check available at PO's from Tue 16th July]

I expect that the september thing is for those with qualification dates of 30 Sep (remember that QFF got a lot of new members in Sep 2001) - sadly for me that means a WP rather than P1 card :(

    Cancelling a Business Sale Ticket

It all depends on the conditions. My sale fare was non-cancellable or changeable and we could only get a credit for use by someone else in the company after proving I had been made redundant.

Re: Qantas Cash ID check available at PO That is good news - did you sign up for the pre-notification thing?

Parents - what do you do with your kid's FF points?

I signed babygr up for an account via EDR when he was born. He now has 16K+ points but I am not sure what to do with them. I could keep going like this until he wants to travel around the world but I am then more likely to buy him a DONE4 (if they still exist) and the points would be useless...

    The totally off-topic thread

Re: Qantas Lounge Standards We are very partial to microwave cheese flavoured pop corn. On the US air force base I lived we could get sour cream and onion flavoured pop corn....

    Qantas Lounge Standards

I suspect so - one of them was talking about having to do another three albums on this contract... He might have been quite famous.

    28,000 status credits

If you are comfortably able to hit AA EXP then for me it is a no-brainer. If also earning CC points and happy to slum in J if upgrades don't come through that works as well. If able to get WP and EXP then that is the perfect situation - Book QF flights and leave WP number in booking until...

    Qantas Lounge Standards

Were the tattoos of an offensive nature - swearing? Racial vilification? coughographic? I think flip flops are bad taste at any time - except perhaps in communal showers. I have had about 90 flights in the past year and have never been offended by anyone's dress/attire in any of the lounges i...

Qantas sorry after boy exposed to cough

Re: QF Offal in Red Wine Sauce The image was in a profile pic - not in a pic hosted on QF's page. For example Ansett has an image of an uncovered lady in their profile pic (in a bikini) - that might be offensive to some people.

    Skybed MK1 anxiety

A few disparaging comments here about the quality of the seat being important. Personally if I had a choice I would not choose an angled seat - like the old sloping CX J seats - I stopped flying CX as I had those a couple of times. SO it is relevant - it is still much much better than whY.

Loss of Qantas Platinum 1 member points due to members accidental death....

Re: Deceased Qantas Plat member points.... Here's what happened, one year on. I agree this was poorly handled by QFF and frankly they should be answering some hard questions about how they used third party information to make someone deceased in their systems. Did you actually speak to the...
