Shocking yesterday on QF446 MEL-SYD. PB queue was 30 people deep with non-eligible pax (based on the fact that I was at the front of people leaving the QP for the gate and walk pretty quickly) and the general boarding queue was empty... My first time out of gate 2 at MEL as well.

One quick point - it can only be earned from flying and I think is purely BIS miles rather than points earned.

I don't see the soft landing from P1 to WP to be much of a benefit. My travel has changed considerably since hitting P1 - haven't had an international flight since the trip I hit P1 - still going to crack 1500 SCs though so I have comfortably (well not comfortably on the aircraft of course)...

Go into your profile and make sure your preferences around sport, food, theatre are up to date. I wouldn't expect a call. Once you get the pack the number on the card is the most useful thing :)
