Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

Hi all, my 70,000 points posted in my 2nd month after meeting the spend limit. No real problems on that front. However, I did discover something interesting. I took out the 15k credit limit and when I called to active the card I was offered a balance transfer or "convenience cheque" up to 80%...

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

How long has it taken for the annual fee for opting in to Qantas to appear on people's transactions? I was under the impression this happened as soon as you made your first spend after opting in and I'm a little worried it has been 3 days or so now and no sign of it. I confirmed with my CSR...

Reason given to cancel churned credit card

Amex cancelled my card Monday or Tuesday this week with no call. Woolworths tried calling yesterday but I missed it. I called back after hours and after going through all the identification process they then said they couldn't help as it needed to go to the "solutions team". I called back...

Reason given to cancel churned credit card

I sent Woolworths and Amex a Dr Ralph special early last week. I haven't heard from them and I'm still showing both the accounts active in my internet banking. How long do the companies usually take to process the cancellations by snail mail?

Singapore call centre wait list availability vs website

Thanks everyone. Makes sense now. I tried booking the individual legs online for the days I wanted and it let me enter all the passenger information but then I got a generic error . We cannot process your request right now. Please try again later, or get in touch with your local Singapore...

Singapore call centre wait list availability vs website

I was under the impression if I waitlist A to B and then C to D under one booking, it will either all get awarded or all rejected? I'm worried that if I do it as two separate bookings I might end up with a flight there but not home or vice versa. Is this a correct understanding?

Singapore call centre wait list availability vs website

I called 13 10 11 but pretty sure I ended up in Singapore. The problem with the website is I have to do each leg of the trip as separate bookings rather than the one (open jaw). Will try again tonight.
