    Downgraded from Business Class.

The benefit of flying Y, you can never be downgraded! :D *well, technically you can be offloaded to JQ, but still. :D

    Qantas Customer DON'T care!

Nope. When I spoke to the service desk the answer was straight "it's usually fine, don't worry" (before I even hand over the booking#). The only time the agent checked with the computer was afterwards to make sure that the booking is still valid (just in case) - which it is.

    Qantas Customer DON'T care!

Not quite true, at least not all airline. E.g. I missed a VA flight (although this one is domestic) on the outbound sector, went to the airport and asked the service desk "what would happen on my return flight?" and was given "don't worry, it's still valid :) but let me check for a bit.... yeah...

How to find fare classes on QF

You can just paste the script into Chrome's Console (part of developer tools) while viewing the booking page, which will run the script in page (basically what GreaseMonkey does).

    International Economy Flex upgrades

I'm about to book a SYD-LAX in Economy Flex, however I'm a bit confused about the upgrades. The fare rule on the booking page AUUSFF2JQI says: "For the purposes of redeeming Qantas Points for a Flight Upgrade Award, this fare is classed as Economy." According to the new table however: "~~~...

    Eligible Qantas Group flights flown

as of today, mine still shows 0 :( I've done quite a few squiggles. Also, the pre-simplification MASAs seems to count twice on the statement.

New A330 Business Class for 2015?

I have quite a few J A330 bookings in the coming months. Given that they preannounced this a year ago, I'll just assume it won't happen until I see it.

    Plat Priority Line Not working

Perhaps this is related to the Melbourne call center closure?

    Heads up about program changes

With the amount of points accrued going up (in most cases, excluding maybe economy) and therefore more points being floated, I foresee a devaluation coming on the redemption side.

Qantas trials 'all day check-in' for international flights

They could set up a Central-to-SYD flight* that you can book (and pay a bit extra for) as part of your itinerary. I think people would happily take that :D Extra credit if it earns SC too. *with QF number operated by ****tyBuses or ****tyRail.

    Is Qantas Actually Listening?

Yes, the cost of Plus add-on is fixed, while Max add-on is variable (Fare+Max = Fixed). Sometimes it gets weird e.g. once the Max cost me less than the Plus (when baggage is included) when booking T-4hour. Perhaps QF can adopt UA's method of selling "points and sc booster" pack on each flight...

Priority boarding on QF domestic - what is the story?

I remember in Japan, the boarding gate machine beeps differently when you scan your BP as a WP. Maybe something subtle like that will actually "train" the passenger e.g. you get a funny beep when you try to board before your turn or using the wrong (priority) lane.

    New Look QF MMB

Ok... I sort of do this thing for a living, and here are my thoughts: 1. The current most popular browser screen is 1366x768. This is typically 13"-15" wide screen display, like what I'm using right now (13" MacBook Air). This category (13-15" display, wide or not) happens to be 99% of laptops...

Has anyone had success with the call-up "Marginal" xASA's?

I believe that is correct. However I'm not confident enough to rely on this to be the case.

Has anyone had success with the call-up "Marginal" xASA's?

Yeah, so far the Melbourne based Premium desk has always been a pleasure to deal with. Hopefully the new Premium desk will be just as good, not enhanced... :(

Not immediately. Last time I tried the cancellation went into a queue and were processed like 2 days later.

    Is Qantas Actually Listening?

OMG. "Exciting news will be coming soon around rewards". I read that as if they're going to make rewards simpler and fairer to. *run to burn all my points before Simplification day*

Has anyone had success with the call-up "Marginal" xASA's?

Re: Successful ASA Bookings booked at classic rates Reference Guide Looks like it hasn't been ticketed yet. I suggest calling in on Monday if it hasn't been ticketed by then (you'll get an email with the e-Ticket), otherwise past July 1st it may become problematic (or not, I don't know).

    Heads up about program changes

Isn't that the same issue when they reduce the SCs too? How come that one goes quicker than the points?
