Had a fantastic CM and flight VA684 PER-MEL on Thursday - felt very well looked after, and couldn't have been better IMHO! Food was tasty as well!
Only minor downside was older (non Boeing sky interior) aircraft with no power or internet. On the plus side (and more than balances that out)...
Reward bookings are never issued under codeshare anyway, they're always issued under the operating airlines flight code, so I don't see why people are reading removing codeshare as removing reward seats?
I knocked together a little script today for fun to try and summarise where I'm at with Forever Gold (much less than I assumed!).
I was able to scrape my data from 2013, and have a look at how it was classified. Interestingly, some of the older double status credits promos applied as double on...
Not necessarily the case here, but in my experience a low minimum password length is often a sign that the password is not being hashed and stored securely. There should be no technical reason to limit the password length this low (other than ridiculously long passwords that could stress a...
I'm not so sure that's 100% true (but maybe I'm mistaken)... I think a family transfer may not count as "activity" for the receiver, so maybe their own points could have expired, whilst the points transferred from a family member are left behind?
Think about it in two different ways:
For obtaining/upgrading a status on any given date:
Count all status credits and VA sectors flight segments within the last year.
For maintaining current status:
Count status credits and VA sectors since obtaining the status (and before the review date)...
VA1373 LST-MEL, with fabulous and friendly service from Kaytlin, depite the short flight time and additional pressure of some turbulent weather:
Really liked this chicken, salsa, pita meal!
Snap - but VA691 MEL-PER the day after:
One strange thing - apparently the pantry wasn't available on this flight, and the FA could only offer a serve of cheese and crackers later in the flight instead.
Something interesting I noticed - row 2 business class seats don't have the literature pocket high up on the back like those in Row 1. Hopefully this means the future divider will extend down a bit further than the headrests.
Additionally it looks like the middle seats in Row 3 don't have any...
Wifi / entertainment still broken as of this morning (just boarded PER-MEL) - an announcement was made to download things before cabin door has closed. Also heard the cabin crew mentioning there is less room to stand in row 1 now apparently!
Maybe try searching for one way options (in both directions first), then try again as a return where you know the flights are available? I've found issues before when either the outbound or inbound options are not available and the whole search goes screwy.
Also looking at your screenshot, you'll also need fly the four required flight segments yourself (on Virgin Australia) before 12th April to renew your gold, in addition to the 9 status credit requirement.
