In recent times I've travelled QF, EK and AA in F. A while ago there was SQ, JL, UA, BA, IB and SA - the hard product has changed quite a bit since I was last on them, but SQ's soft product was excellent. I give QF the nod simply because I find the staff in F exceptional and personable...

Very motivated for points at the moment as want a FASA next May... so Mrs Paddy helped up by joining, buying 1 doz St Hallet and getting ready for another 3 dozen :)

The Gateway stopover looks the most likely to impact... always try for the Saver Awards so haven't seen much change there. With the elimination of OWE awards and QF's 'simplification' it looks like a small cooling of relations among the participating airlines

True, and speaking from personal experience also :) Interestingly, Mrs Paddy has asked to do the next DONE4 with me :shock: as I'm looking to start in JNB and she's always wanted to travel there!

The first QF lunch I've attended and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as much to meet fellow AFFers as to talk to QF. :) IMHO a percentage of the questions resulted in "Corporate Spin" type responses, and to an extent is reasonably to be expected. I suspect some of the questions about Acquire might not...

Done 3 x DONE4s and, based on the knowledge found on AFF, know you can do a whole lot better than 690SC if you've even a little spare time on your hands. :)
