A TA should/may be able to plate the fare to AA and offer the AA taxes level (less YQs). Only draw back is AA support < QF support if things go wrong.

Agents should be able to book in the GDS. Some may not be aware of course. ie: You can ignore the baggage on VX showing as 0P, defintiely get 2PC incl.

We can defintiely book a through fare using VA/VX to NYC in PE etc. Baggage is interlined.

I know Hertz and others should have them on fleet at LAX. Beware, it's never guaranteed to be that vehicle type when you show up, you could end up with a Chrysler Sebring Convertable :/

Just heard on the radio Public transport in Brisbane (ie the busses) are going to be shutting down from around 1pm.

This was yesterday at Riverside, 1:30pm. It's come up about 1 meter overnight from this point. This is from our office. You can see the Jazz Club to the far left is about to go right under.

Not as of yet. Originally they said they'd shut off the power in parts of the CBD at 7am, and then at 8:30, but we're still here. I'd say t would just be along the river in Riparian, Riverside etc.

Our office is on Ann St, so have great views of the river rushing by this morning. Will be interesing to see it rise over the next day or so. Was the quickest bus ride in this morning!

Wow that was fantastic watching them come over the city from our building. Could see them heading down to the coast too.
