I'd call up and ask if they've already given you a credit limit of $15,000 - that seems the real 'barrier'. The income is probably just there for new applicants as they consider $75,000 to be the minimum required to service a fully utilised $15,000 credit limit.
Woohoo card arrived... looks... different
Doesn't really look like a $400pa card does it?

Anyone with a recently issued Sig card - does it have paywave yet?
If the new ones do I'm getting mine replaced!
I would say it's had it for at least a year. They had a process defined to request a replacement ... from memory it was log in to internet banking, write a new email, select something about "ATM Card" as the topic, and type into the body that you want a new card with Paywave, and enter the address you want it sent to (which must be the same as the address they have on record).

I think this thread might be the best place to ask this (correct me if this is not true):
Has anyone compared the different FF programs Citi Signature points can be transferred to? Which one is better value for money? Availability of award in J or F? Extra (fuel) charges?
Thanks!
Well, with Signature it's 1ppd regardless of which program you use. It's either to SQ/VA (1.5ppd converting at 1.5:1) or QF. SQ is a winner internationally with award availability and redemption costs in points and then you've got VA for local redemptions. Best option IMO.

I've had no issues with Citibank customer service even when I was a regular customer to them. I actually find them light years faster than any AU big four - probably they try and compensate for only a handful of physical branches in AU.
Since I've been a Citigold it's been even better and the Signature card is great esp overseas staying with good hotels Visa gives you some nice benefits over and on top of Citi!
Finally as already discussed in another thread their fee free transaction/savings account is brilliant for those that travel OS and for my travel patterns provided better forex conversions than 28 degrees which I cut up
Hope this helps some people!
I thought there was three (besides QF): SQ, VA, and AsiaMiles?
And, IIRC, it's 2:1 with AM.Asia Miles is a feature of the Select card.
Well really, how much do you really expect from a free card, of course the prospect of devaluation exists so abuse it while you can!I wonder if this free-for-life offer is the lead up to the launch of PremierMiles in Australia.
And whether Signature is next in line to be devalued,
positioning PremierMiles above Signature and below Select.
I was one of these people paying a reduced rate until I rang and enquired about fee free for life was placed on hold for 2 mins then advised that yes your fee will be waived. well thank you I replied. would you like to increase your credit limit?Agree it looks pretty cheap considering some people would be paying full fee
28 degrees is introducing cash advance charge next year, but their fee free credit transaction still seems unbeatable.
