Do I bother applying purely for the free PP which is mainly useless in Australia and im QF SG? Also already earning 1:1 on non-Amex.
PP question. Can you take a guest in or just single admission?
Just got my newly minted card in the mail. I also (wrongly) thought I'd get complimentary Priority Pass. Whilst one does indeed get complimentary "membership" to Priority Pass, Citi Signature only provides 2 complementary lounge visits per annum. Beyond the 2 visits, each visit sets one back US$27. So if you visit once with one guest, there goes your annual complementary access.
I think I'll use the card for now, but will upgrade to a Select if they ever run a fee-free promotion for that card.
nope, no guests, you'll be charged $27 for even the first one.
as would anyone, of course, but it seems unlikely - it's their only "premium" card left. perhaps in a few years when it's been supplanted with a Visa Infinite card or something.
do you already have a citibank CC as I see that only new customers should apply/ I have a platinum and though I have had the fee waived the last 2 yrs.The run around is quite something. Been a credit card customer for 20 years and they've made me jump through all the hoops to get the fee free version of the card. I love the way the emails all ask for slightly different things. Nothing extra has turned up in either of my online banking accounts....
Crazy limit approved. Anyone know how to get it decreased, or do I have to call? Even the minimum is a bit high for my needs.

I have an existing Plat and will try to get the Signature as 1:1 for a Visa card for QF is good for those places that do not take Amex and/or surcharge.
Currently have a credit limit of 20K with about 10K oustanding
Thinking I should pay off the $10K and then apply ?
Thoughts ?
Just called up as an existing Citi Visa Signature cardholder, and after some waiting I was told they had put my request in to move to the 'fee free for life' Signature account, and would confirm in writing in the next 7-10 days. I'm confident it will happen, but it's a slightly different experience to others (who appear to have been told on the spot?), so just sharing for that reason. My annual fees are not usually billed until February, so not worried for the moment.
