Does anyone know how to change your pin? Online it only seems to let me change my debit card pin and not credit card...

You'll have to login to your other online account: the one created when you got your credit card.

Excuse my ignorance, but aren't they the same? My credit card comes up in my normal account + all options for it (such as upgrade, credit limit) minus the pin option. Do I need to create a separate account?

No, when you opened your first account (either CC or plus a/c) you would have made a login. From that you can change the pin for it. When you opened your second account, there would have been another online profile created with both the old account and the new and you're only able to change the pin for the new.
At least that's how Citibank's piece of cough system has worked for me...

That's weird. Thanks will check if they created a new account..

not them it's you who needs to create a second online account. Then you are able to change the pin number of the card that you open the online account with.

Citibank have a concept of parent and child accounts. If you have only a credit card, the credit card login is the parent. If you have transaction and credit card accounts, the transaction (Citibank Plus) login is the parent and will display both the balance of the transaction and the credit card accounts.

If you want to change the PIN of any particular account's card, you must log in with that specific account. I manage it by naming my logins with the last 4 digits of my account number .. eg deka1234 and deka5678

So I was conditionally approved. Had to send payslips plus driving licence which I did. Then I got a letter saying declined!

I like that idea. Do you need a new login each time a card is replaced, such as on expiry or if you cancel it due to fraud etc?

Thanks heaps got it changed!

Really? That's an improvement. I'm up to login number 4...
Youre lucky, I just about to setup login number 6. For some reason my OTP sometimes does dont work and there are no three tries, it just locks the accounts, or rather says it does not recognise my login. Their call centre can't seem to unlock, they just say setup new logon.

I tried to apply for this card but was declined for some reason. Rang up to ask why and they said they couldn't put me through to anyone who could discuss my application. Any suggestions on how to further pursue this?

Email them a nicely worded reassessment request and send it to [email protected] with your application reference number.

Requested for an upgrade on Fri, 29/11. Manager on the phone said that she will call me back in 5-7 working days to advise the outcome.
Tue, 3/12/13 she called and said the upgrade has been approved. She will try to get the $0 annual fee offer for me. If the $0 annual fee offer is declined, I can downgrade back to CBG.
Thu, 4/12/13 the new signature card arrived. The letter does say $395 annual fee
Fri, 5/12/13, called Citibank to find out on why the 'View Rewards' function is not available. The CSO on the phone told me that it is because of the upgrade process. Whilst on the phone she told me that the $0 annual fee request has been approved on 4/12/13. Asked for the reference no (as per other AFF member advise) to protect myself in the future.
Happy ending I guess. Good bye QFF, Hello KF/VA :)

Applied for new Signature card and it's declined.
Reason declined: Applied for credit limit increase on my existing CitiBusiness card 3 months ago
Requested for re-assessment and it's declined
Reason declined: Same as above

Requested for $0 annual fee for life on my existing CBG and it's declined

Requested for upgrade to Signature from CBG and it's declined. Requested to speak with Supervisor and she will try to request for an upgrade, once approved, will ask for the $0 annual fee for life on the approved signature. Both are not guaranteed, she will call me back in 5-7 working days to advise.

Not very happy at the moment...

1.25 QFF / dollar spent on CBG is fantastic, but the required points to redeem flights are not competitive compared with others

If u have access to citi at work, they can help u out. In my case the call centre staff had tagged my yearly expenses as monthly so I was effectively spending more than I earnt! All sorted now.

I have a feeling this is what happened with mine, as when the person putting through the application kept reading back my information incorrect/misspelled.

I've sent an email to the above mention email address and still haven't heard back.
