She states, "I just wanted to let you know that the offer will be restricted to Cardmembers who received the invitation in the mail; and Cardmembers who are currently enrolled, even if the offer was not intended for them."

Also on page 24 there are some screen-prints which show the offer available to the public prior to having to log-into the secure site.

Well I thought that my issues had been resolved but it appears the saga continues.
Spoke with Executive services today and they are still telling me that because i wasn't targetted with a postcard i am being moved to the Mybonus promotion. This is despite speaking to them 2 weeks ago and being assured that i was on the Myreward promotion and having the points for December paid under Myreward. They claimed to have done another review and will be reclaiming the points they have 'overpaid' me.

The woman denied that there are people who didn't receive a postcard that were paid points under Myrewards.

So I think i have no option but to lodge a complaint with the FOS.

For the record I received no postcard and received points under the 5/5 promo.

Has anyone else received a "reconciliation" letter from AMEX? I just received one yesterday basically telling me they've paid out all they owe me under 10T / 5K promo, even though their reps were stating that I would be paid under 5T / 5K promo

rodgerbranch - I don't know if anyone has said this, but you really do sound like a complete w@nker. Bragging on here about how many points you have earned whilst others are fighting Amex is just in poor taste.

Thats great you earned your millions of points, but perhaps no need to shout it from the rooftops? Noone likes arrogance to that degree.

From W@NKER to W@NKER, you dont sound very happy with the No of points you earned... hope you got enough for a Syd to Melb flight.

Any one could earn 1M easily if played the right way. I understand the disappointment of those who reduce their No of transactions due to some scary comments posted on this forum during October and November. I also dropped drop the No of TX/Day in November because of the same reason. Even more, my first call to Amex was in a regretfully angry tone due to comment-poisoning. At the end of the day, those talking garbage about Amex are the cause of most of the delays. :evil:

For those still waiting for points: Allow 10 weeks for points to be posted. Last bunch of points should be around the 12 of March. Unless you have done really wrong you should be already paid in full. I guess the most problematic cases will be left to the end and deal with tough love. Keep in mind that probably none of your NICE forum mates “who have been paid in full” will seat next to you in court case against Amex.

Rodger, you still havent explained your 440 transactions in 10 days...

Also, as per your screenshots (with edited points totals paid) showing that In December you only did a handful of transactions over a 10-11 day period, which equated to an average transact which would earn you little over 100k in bonus points.

And there will not be another "generous" promo such as this again, unless Amex makes another huge blunder, as it was a "mistake promo" in it's design and execution

Amex would not have intended for it to have been as generous as it was ...and it's like will most likely never be seen again. And not from the actions of any cardmember that took part, but rather because this promo should never have been rolled out in the form it was. Bonus rate size, T&C, "open" eligibility" etc etc...

Why on earth would someone redeem for a Sony Plasma from the Amex store, QFF store or Velocity store? Just redeem for vouchers and "buy" it using the vouchers. I'm sure it'll cost you less points.
